hmmm...where were we? Manuel Antonio was like diving into Animal Planet for a day...if you can´t be bothered checking it out on the net, it´s a peninsula with a few of the nicest beaches either of us has seen and all the jungle you could ask for...if it hadn´t been for the entry fee we would have stayed a week! Cheapskates that we are, we packed it all into one day, hiking round the whole park in about 6 hours..we bumped into white-faced monkeys, crabs, iguanas, hummingbirds and a whole family of sloths taking a beachside siesta in a tree. We even saw (and HEARD) about two dozen howler monkeys going wild by the not-so-main road...apparently having asailed an American tourist with airborn coconuts a little while earlier.

After nearly two weeks doing big cities Quepos and its laid back beach life really took our fancy so we stayed another day catching waves and getting burnt!

Now we´re about to take the bus to Nicaragua, crossing our fingers for a smooth border crossing. We´ll try to upload some pics for you next time..

Hola amigos!!!
Ni ser verkligen utatt ha det underbart. Vi är riktigt avundsjuka. Här hemma har vi fått tillbaka den svenska sommaren - regn och sol om vartannat. Jag jobbar för fullt (?) med huset och vi ska väl ha kommit en bit i alla fall när ni kommer tillbaka. Det går trögt, speciellt när vi kan se hur ni har det. Vi saknar er, ta hand om er. Finally...
At last have uncovered how this thing works, and what a wonderful trip you're having! Were a bit concerned (understatement) about cyclone, but that's now history, anyway!! Have just returned from spending some days with Evert in Falun, painting his windows - didn't have the computer with us. You look extremely happy in all the pics (except fever ones). Great to see. Love u lots - will be following this now we know how it functions. BTW, what DOES "blog" mean/stand for??

Heeej Grymt roligt att läsa nu när jag väl har lyckats hitta er. Såfi hjälpte mig på traven. Ni verkar ha det riktigt skoj och det tycker jag ni kan ha... I Nicaragua har ju förresten min pappa goda vänner. Dem kanske ni kan hälsa på då? Jag kommer inte ihåg adressen. Den får jag kolla upp...och pappa är i USA nu så jag kanske inte ringer honom på mobilen just nu...men ett sms kan jag kosta på mig. Återkommer om jag får nåt bra svar. I och för sig är ju han från Nicaragua också i USA på samma konferens men ni kanske är kvar en vecka eller så? Ha d riktigt bra! Oh, I just wrote everything in Swedish, didn't I?

Hey, wait a minute. The people I was talking about that you could visit (that was in the Swedish comment I just wrote, for you who don't know that beautiful language and happen to read this message intended for bradley and sara) are not in the US but actually in Nicaragua right now. Om ni vill och har tid kan ni säkert titta förbi där de bor. Hälsa från mig (tolkade honom i Göteborg nyligen) och mina föräldrar (pappa hälsade på ganska nyss i Nicaragua faktiskt). Då vet de att ni inte bara är vandrande sjörövare som tappat sin båt eller vad de nu kunde få för uppfattning om er om ni kom dit utan referenser=)...
