This weekend my group and I headed out on our first solo excursion. We planned a trip to Tortuguero, a beautiful National Park in the northeast of Costa Rica, on the Caribbean Coast. Hello loved ones! As most of you know I am about to embark on a life changing experience. I leave this Saturday, August 27th, 2011 for Costa Rica. I am so excited for this upcoming adventure in the jungle, as well as the challenges I will face in my attempts to learn and communicate solely in Spanish.
