After classes on Thursday afternoon, it was time for dance class. We all met in the recreation area of the school and were joined by Viviana, our dance instructor. She spoke lots of Spanish, but mostly we just watched and tried to do what she did. We knew it was going to be a workout when she had us stretch and warm up first! We danced salsa, merengue, cumbia and bachata, but don't ask us to demonstrate or tell you which one was which. As you will see from the pictures and videos, we have some great dancers in the group, and later, during an evening out at Manuel Antonio, we actually put some of our new dance skills to use.
