The road down from Monteverde was pretty good. It seems more newly maintained and there’s evidence of fairly complicated blasting and channeling water to protect the road from washing out. Agates!!

I found agates on playa Samara. Who knew!?

And a horse!! This little guy (or gal) was running behind a group of mature horses saddled up from the beach ride. Beach rides are popular here.

This sweet little kitty came to our door at La Mancion on the second floor!

She was so sweet - just mewing and wanting to come in our room (she’s obviously been here before)

Stray cat preparedness

Yes... I bought a little bag of cat food so I can feed the stray cats that come for pets and treats. I’m tired of feeling bad and feeding them my meal!
