Costa Rica Rios - Week of Rivers, December 2008
Just back from about 10 days in Costa Rica, some great kayaking with new friends, some mountain biking, some touring around. Some photos below from the rivers, and my new pals.

Adventures in Chile, maybe beyond! These pix and tales are from a two+ week trip to the Lakes District in Chile, this February. Along with 8 other folks, I had a blast in a kayak school conducted by the unmatched Long Family of Cascade Raft and Kayak School, Payette, Idaho. (www.cascaderaft.com). Lots of us SoCal boaters know the extended Long family and have taken other instruction with them in Idaho and near Kernville, CA, thus the level of familiarity.
