Hola a tod@s, Ayer por la tarde aterrizamos al aeropuerto de San Jose, la capital de Costa Rica. Un viaje de paliza ya que saliamos de Amsterdam a las 8 de la manana y volamos via Madrid con 2 horas de espera. Por suerte no fue tan duro para Angela ya que la hicieron un upgrade a Business Class!!!!!!! Mientras, Gonzalo se juntaba a "plebe"de economico (previa discusion de turno con la azafata rallada de Iberia...). Cogimos un taxi al hotel que reservamos ya desde Holanda hace unos dias. Todo fue muy facil. El hotel bien. Nos dieron la mejor habitacion con bano privado y balcon (nada especial...). El barrio segun el taxista era un poco peligroso pq habia muchos gays.... Remembering a trout fishing sign on the upper slopes of the Poas volcano we headed out for a Grayson fishing trip. We hesitated briefly after surveying the road but headed down what ended up being a horrible road even for Costa Rica. After about 1.5 miles of descending down a steep, deeply rutted driveway we reached a beautiful finca. The owners seemed shocked when they saw gringos in a rental car. We think they were shocked we made it down the road. The farm had an incredible view and it was the perfect temperature. The couple that ran the place spoke zero English, but we managed to get directions to the fishing areas. They pointed to the backdoor so we just roamed their land and found the trout pond.
