I woke up to snow this morning, and I laughed. I laughed because it was 4am, and I was getting ready to go to the airport to fly to Belize. The friends I'm traveling with picked me up at 4:45am. All my life, I've wanted to be a storyteller. My experiences as an exchange student in New Zealand started me on a path to learn how to tell the stories left behind in the rocks. After six years working as a geophysicist, I returned to university to get a Masters degree in Geology. These studies have dominated my life, and my travels, for the last several years. Great Trip!
I have been delayed catching up with travel blog reading... a boat trip around the coast of Belize and its coral reef has been a dream of mine for a long time... I'll follow yours with great interest! BTW, Great aerial shots!
