Following the success of our first trip we decided to head to SEA for a longer period of time and explore some of the wonderful places we had heard about whilst travelling through Vietnam the previous year.
First stop was Burma, which is still one of our favourite countries. We spent about 2 weeks there in total are are keen to get back there as soon as we have the chance.
Following Burma we headed to Thailand for a few days where Bianca started to recover from food poisoning. After Thailand we crossed the border into Laos and, after doing the 'Gibbon Experience' (which is highly recommended) we caught the slow boat down the Mekong to Luang Prabang and eventually worked our way down to Vientiane.
From Laos we flew into Cambodia and spent Scott's 21st Birthday exploring the temples of Angkor Wat with our friend from Australia, Katheryn. After Siem Reap we spent a few days in Phnom Penh.
Following Cambodia we had a few final days in Bangkok before heading back to Melbourne.
During the trip we visited the following places: Burma (Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Inle Lake), Thailand (Chiang Mai, Bangkok), Laos PDR (Huay Xai, Gibbon Experience, Slow Boat, Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, Vientiane) and Cambodia (Siem Reap, Phnom Penh)
