I was at the Tree House Hostel I was there in 2008 and I think it's a great hostel. I thoroughly enjoyed the blogs about your volunteering. I'm planning to teach English abroad when I graduate from University. I'm considering Chile to do my TEFL training and possibly teach there. Enjoy yourself and have fun. Best wishes, Dawn
I would never imagine ....... .......that when I take care of you, when you were a little child, you would come up to be so an extraordinary person for the joy of both your father but specially your mom. As I went reading your entries here, I felt that I was there too, enjoying the beautiful scenery. I am really glad that you have this opportunity, so enjoy, have fun, and keep working hard to achieve your goals. A huge and cozy hug.
Wow, who is this smart boy friend of yours? he does sound awesome! also, because of the island name I have to do this
Alejandrina, alejandrina ale ale alejandrina!
May the Force be with you How great it must be to be young, to see the world and try to make a difference by helping others. I remember my youth and I regret not travelling more, not doing more to make the world a better place or least feel good about trying to. I am so happy, so proud (and maybe a little bit jealous) of the choices you are making for yourself. Be careful, because although the world is a beautiful place, it is also a mysterious place and some of its mysteries lie on the dark side (may the Force be with you, young Skywalker/Roldan). (Sidenote: That chorizo looks delicious). I know you have a lot on your mind, but if you can, one morning, maybe when you're walkiing to your students or walking to meet friends, when you see the snow, remember me, I will remember and think of you from a snowless Massachusets. Dios te bendiga.
Casualidades??? Ja! Para que veas que noy casualidades, si no causalidades. Con algun proposito la vida -y Dios- te brindan esta oportunidad. Que osom! Me alegro que ya sepas un chin mas de tu aventura... Un beso.
hmmmm I'm hoping you are enjoying all of these experiences and are journaling what you don't blog - you know, the personal stuff. It is a great way to digest the day, and a great memoir after you are home for a while. I am happy for you and your journey! Enjoy!
