I envy you Hi Dave
Great to hear you are back in Bolivia. It rates as one of my favourite places in S America. I am currently working very hard fixing up my hostal here in Puerto Lopez, Ecuador. If it fits in with your plans it would be great to have you visit. Best time would be after June, as the humpback whales arrive and you could do some whale watching. What do you think?

I care for your photos, even if I am from Indiana. Hi Dave, I always look at your photos on the blog, and look forward to your new posts. Keep up the good work. I love "sunset on the salar". Clearly your specialty is wrinkled faces of old characters with stories to tell.

where to settle down for three months Dave,
Get back to Bariloche, Argentina. You may think it is quiet or touristy; but it is full of things to do when you need a break from working, has great wine and plenty of places off the beaten path for you to hide out and work in! Good luck!
Definitely Sydney!!! Hey Dave,
Come to Sydney and we'll look after you. Currently in Bahrain on our way home to Ireland for Christmas. Just spent 3 days in Singapore. Fantastic place!!! Happy Christmas. Stay in the hotle Cartagena in Cartagena. I will be staying under the name Jack Colten.
Later.
Happy Holidays Yogi,
Hope all is well with you. Travel safe and Merry Christmas. I had a great time at the Muck with everyone. Hope to see you soon. Love, Les
Good place to settle down If it helps Dave, I settled down in La Paz for a lot more than 3 months. As you know that is not a serious suggestion! Good luck with your quest.

On the Road Again Well Cuz .... It sure was great seeing you. Now I feel very special since you squeezed in breakfast with us between all the Pizza and 24! :) Your mom just sent me this update. All is well here! Your mom's house looks like Christmas already! Oh ....... just in case you did not know your Mom was the energizer bunny if Vegas, however I do think that her batteries are in need of recharging.
God Speed Yogi, looking forward to more updates!

Thanks for taking the time to read my TravelBlog. Originally from the Chicago area i received my BS from northern Illinois University and after graduating I started my "career" at Abbott Laboratories. While there I earned my MBA from DePaul, Univiersity. Then I dropped out of the corporate world in 1992 when I moved to Minnesota. Next, I dropped out of the rat race in 1997 and I've been traveling since. For the first few years I only traveled in the US, working one summer in Yellowstone national park and I spent two summers in Alaska. I also had the great fortune to be a rafting guide ... full info
