Uhhhh... Hi? Hi, Annie! Was just jumping around on the net and decided I'd google the Harrington Twins and found your travel blog! Great stuff... I'm glad life is treating you well!
still LOL from your email/blog Loved this blog! I'm still laughing. So lovely and descriptive. It makes me want to stay at a farm house too. We will be in Ireland in October and I hope we have half the experience you seem to be having. Can't wait to hear more about the farm!
great blog, Lisa, THANK YOU! In the 4 (long!) years Helene and I have been here so far, no one - professional or not - has done such a thorough and wonderful job of captivating the harvest atmosphere, viewed as an outsider, than Lisa. She was very quiet most of the day, but her words now speak volumes. Very impressive! Lisa, I was honored to meet you and thank you for sharing your experiences which I found humourous, well-observed and very thoughtful. Best, Michael Affatato (aka fast-talkin' New Yawk-uh!)
Maybe not the same bud! Is it really Budweiser (as in of the Anheuser-Busch variety) or is it the Czech (Budweiser Budvar) or German version? If it's either of the latter, I'd say your okay (especially the Budvar, I've had it and it's pretty good). But if it's American Bud.....blech! I hope no one drinks that in France.....oops, wait, they support a zillion organizations and charities in my city, nevermind, drink Bud everyone!!! It's the king of beers!
Danville? Crazy pants. That's so cool that you have a place to live for free. I can't really believe it. As crazy as things are, it sounds like things are falling into place rather nicely. I want to eat a third of a wheel of Camembert and then lose weight.... I guess I need to move to a foreign country.
1). Yes, it's an air freshener
2). You should have taken a tour of the Heineken Brewery, then you pay 10 euro for three beers that size!
3). Things will get easier and one year from now, you won't want to come back.....I can't believe you're in FRANCE!!!! So joyously jealous...have a great time!
Gross Lunch OMG can I just say that was entirely entertaining! You have a gift for subtitling pictures like no one I've ever met. Miss you, have so much fun!
Love, Sam
P.S. Hotel de ville is the government building and you can also say "pardon" if you want to mix it up.
