Found the free wifi, but the pad is the onlything that works. arrived on time and we have 3 hours until we leave for Leeds. 13 hours went ok, not sure I'd want to tlong for that long in a confined space with the kids if they were awake. Everyone managed to sleep though not very restful. once the kids woke up it didn't take long for them to have a wrestling match, personal touch screens can only hold their attention for so long. the surrounding passengers were a bit taken back, as were the crew. thankfully it was only anothermini minutes and we had landed. Well, eventually took off - luckily before Sydney airport closed for the storm. Got here - longhaul flights are like child birth, you forget the pain pretty quickly and are ready to do it all again! Terri, saw lots of new tv "enlightened" with Laura Dern but no movies. Singapore is all I've been told it was hot, rainy, clean and safe. Thank goodness the hotel pool is a hit with us all, breaks up the day (read, lets me sleep). Night safari was amazing last night. Today the Singapore Duck, Singapore flyer and little india were all jammed in around time swimming in a tropical down pour. Tomorrow is a trip to China town, river cruise and a museum or two. Well, here we are for the next two days at least. Lists continue to grow - just when we think we're getting somewhere! My style mistress (read hairdresser) confided that it sounds more like we are putting the house on the market - rather than just going on a trip of a life time. I must admit the house has NEVER (yes Terri, I know you're aware of this) looked like this and probably never will again. Trial pack went well - still an empty bag to take a long at this point. I'll admit I'm struggling with technology - Steve Job really knew what he was doing - I on the other hand feel like I'm fighting a losing battle with pad, pod, ds, laptop, camera, video camera and assorted chargers.
