Cruise Wow! Beth is going to DIE when she sees the picture of you in all white. You look great and your pictures are stunning. I smell a regular travel columnist brewing - and you already have the title: Travelling Frog.
Wow! Those pictures are stunning! I am in awe again in some of the pictures you've posted. How wonderful it must be seeing these sites in person! All I can say is WOW!
Bologna, Koln, and football Yeah, you're becoming real russian)))))) Hope, we'll watch world championship in 2010 the same company and with good(for us) result;)))))
National spirit Vince, spirit of nation and unity must be inside you (me or anybody else). I didn't care about colors, because it's just an appearance.
To be honest I came there to shout :) to release "the steam" as we call it in Russia ;)
Picture of you on the bridge My friend at work, Beth, says she likes that picture almost as much as the one of you in all white on the cruise. She's developed quite the crush on you! :0) Don't worry, you're safe, she's married. Anywayyyyy, looks like a great trip! I'm with Leo, the pic of you on the train is great!
I know...lol Yes, I know that was probably a little too much all at one time, but I am still alive and talking about another trip this Sunday. Yes, I gave Egor your number. Thanks for your help!
Congrats biker man! I'm so proud of you for using that bike you bought. That's a long way to go on a beach cruiser and with no practice. What were you thinking! It's better to get plenty of saddle time before the long treks. I ride about 15-20 miles on most weekends to get ready for Germany in August. I hope you gave Egor my info!
Thanks Just wanted to thank you for the great write up. Glad the cookies lasted until you got on the plane to Russia. Others must know that was 2 batches of 2 different kinds. Ha
catching up I'm trying to catch up on your blogs and wow, you've been busy! Sounds like you had a wonderful visit, even as busy as it may have been. Glad you're doing good and still having wonderful adventures. Take Care
Murano Island I did make it to Murano Island and walked in a few of the glass shops, but I liked it the best because there were very few people there and I really got to enjoy the peace and quiet while sipping coffee along one of the canels. I never made it to Burano and I understand Venice has some wonderful beaches.
Venice I loved Venice. I liked the somewhat fishy smell and the quietness of no cars. The sound of the boats gave a resort feel. Last time I was there it was flooded and we all walked around in waders. Now that's fun! NOT! I liked the food a lot. The islands around Venice are interesting - Murano making glass and Burano making lace. They were amazing and well worth the water taxi ride to get there.
Great Service WOW now that is a great company, I think I have meet most of the Board Of Directors of that Company. And I would have to say they are a bunch of upstanding people. I will make sure to ask for their services if I get another chance to vist Obninsk again.

I changed my portrait from my lastest picture from Tokyo where I saw ZED by Cirque du Soleil and even go to meet ZED.
Summer has pasted and now it is winter here in cold dark (short days with little sunshine) Russia. For those that did not hear, I signed on for another year so I will be living here in Obninsk until January 2009.
It is finally summer here in Russian so thought I would change the picture. Enjoy the stories, adventures, blunders, etc. as I live and work in Russia.
I do not want to loose any of my emails and stories, so I am just going to add to this existing one. ... full info
