Fantastic! I have always wanted to go to Lake Louise so this wet my appetite. I'd forgotten about the ice sculpture competition. We'll have to get up there for that.
Aurora Thanks for sharing. I'm sure the Aurora was a spectacular view. I dream the same. Nice to see a happy travelling family. Memories are the best treasures. Cheers!
Amazing photos These are some amazing photos of One of the best national parks in Canada. I just wanted to let you know, however, that the Mountain you identify as mount "vermi" is actually mount "vimy."

BTW, good write up and great photos as usual...
Awesome! Hi, The lake looks awesome. This place is stright out of a picture post card . I wonder what is the reason behind such a rich colour of the water. Reminded me of Tawang - Arunachal - Lakes , Mountains, snow peaks - beautiful.

Thanks for the Info We're planning a camping/hiking trip that way next summer and it's always nice to get impressions from other TravelBloggers. Glad to hear it lived up to the hype because we're heard great things about it too which only increases the opportunities for disappointment. That glacial water looks absolutely stunning. Happy trails!
We love travel; backpacking, hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, sight seeing, camping or skydiving; whatever package it comes in.
We hope to travel, to see, to feel and experience as much of this planet as possible.
Mobile bases: California, USA to Calgary & Toronto in Canada, Brazil and Germany. With no permanent "dwelling", home is something we carry around in our backpacks, literally.
P.S : Sometimes, the experience of the place is bigger than expressible in words. Hence, pending many blog updates...working on it...
cheers
