Envy is an ugly emotion Therefore, I and the stoic members of the MS staff room are reining in our emotions, and in a public display of good will, are wishing the Tonkin family well as you all relax into German mode. We are missing you Catherine, but don't let that put you off your stride.
Cheers, Jeremy
It's Nick Xav Hey Xav been a while it's Nick B here I changed my online name to Rol and it's nice to have a chat so would please aanswer me howecer your supposed to do that
Hi from Hunty! Hello Tonkins! Hope that you are having a fantastic time! Nothing very exciting is going on at TAS, but I can tell you that the Melbourne Cup winner was Americain. I can see in the photos that you have had plenty of fun already! Can't wait to see you back at school!

Melbourne Cup Hi Lachie,
We had a class sweep in the Melbourne Cup and you drew Buccelatti - unfortunately you did not run so well. The boys watched the race in Dangar House. I can't be;ieve you followed a car full of ladies in pretty hats for 80km! Did mum wear one?
Have you seen any camels on the road so far (I loved camels before I loved cows!)
Looking forward to your next entry. Sorry we've been so slack commenting on your adventures. Loved the text message and pics. Keep having fun!
hello everyone hopes that you are having a great time touring oz (away from school... grrrrr) and cha cha still really hates you and you know why ;). your friends all miss you
keep enjoying your long holiday

Shark Alert!!
Hey have you guys been hearing the news of Shark attacks near Busselton, a 3 metre great white apparently.
Lucky you have those seal-like wetsuits now when you go swimming!!
Love reading the posts - keep them coming.
Dave.
Windy WA?? Hi to the touring tonkins! I have finally had enough time to read all the blogs on your site and check out all the videos and photos! Amazing things going on over there. I had to stifle a chuckle when reading about the windy weather and the running shoes. Of course when last we spoke winter had returned to Armidale ,in full gale-like force and it was freezing and stormy here. He who laughs last!!! Anyway, I went up to check your house was still standing and all seems ok. You now have a cement slab in the garage! All trees still standing.
I hope to keep more up to date with your travel blog from now on. Where to next?
thank you Thank you for all the telephone calls. I have finished the third lot of anti
biotics,so I hope I will improve.
What a ghastly day with the wind and rain.It made me think of those lone yachtsmen stranded in the Southern ocean.I assumed that was where the wind was coming from.
They have been very busy here trying to complete the cotton planting before it rains to morrow.
Your photographs are very good.I really enjoy your daily updates.
I hope the weather is fine with no wind.
LOL Mum
perth mint Didn't read your blog in time: we were in the Perth Mint on the same day as you were. Such a shame as it would have been nice to have treated the boys to some sort of big edible treat at our hotel, which was walking distance from the Mint. Anyway, the trip sounds fantastic!
I guess the next blog will be when Catherine, Lachlan and Xavier arrive. So good to follow your trip...so many 'goode' beaches!! Hope the rest of the trip is just as amazing. The things you have accomplished in the the past two months are amazing. Take a well earned break and relax and enjoy the great Australian landscapes! (and wines too of course!)
PS Australia lost the Netball as well as the Rugby sevens...but we won the hockey!
What Fun! Hi Xavier,
Sounds as though you having such a wonderful time already.
The blog is most impressive a wonderful way for Year 4 to keep up with your travels whilst we are back at school next term.
We are making the most of our last rest day before the term begins.
Continue to enjoy!
