$450AUD London to Sydney How'd I get that?
Well I boked well in advance but went from:
London to KL with Air Asia
KL to Singapore Air Asia again
Singapore to Darwin Jetstar
Alice Springs to Melbourne Tigerair
Melbourne to Sydney Virgin Blue.
Quality of photos I have to apologise about the quality of the photos. I was in Tajikistan when I downloaded these onto the blog. Worst internet connection in about 10 years. Had to reduce the quality.
Magic! Travelling to Jordan in a week's time with rels and I got this link from one of them. It's like dangling a carrot to a rabbit's face, the excitement is uncontainable!. Amazing photos and excellent account of what to expect. Tasked myself now to match the quality of photos you took.. magnificent.
Drinking Norwegian Style Aye; your piece brings back memories Dribbleman. I've done Norway a few times but only on business expenses. And I'd hate to do it for long out of my own pocket. I, too, have wandered around towns trying to find people, then spent 2 hours in an empty bar wondering where everybody is, then when we're no longer in the mood and it's jackets on to leave - they all turn up. Seems they drink at home since it's cheaper, then hit the town 11pm which is when things hot up.
Souless "in a way its a pre-school style of backpacking.....It lives a fake existence in the backpacking itinerary" - well put. I reckon over the next 20 years tourism is going to screw Thailand hard.
I really enjoyed reading your blog. Dang, I'm Filipino and I haven't even been to those places you've been to, save perhaps for Legaspi city which I last visited when I was a kid. Anyways, for your info, the International airport in Manila is the best way to get to the Philippines. Especially the NAIA 3 which is the newest one that only opened recently. But as of now, only Cebu Pacific operates out of that airport. The other international airlines that serve Manila are still pretty much comfortable using the NAIA 2 airport which is nearby but they also have plans to eventually transfer to NAIA 3 once all the kinks have been ironed out. The Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) that operates out of Clark Field is only for low cost airlines coming in from the Asia/Oceania region. But I understand the preference others have in arriving at Cebu since I heard that there is less haggling involved with touts and taxi drivers and the overall more chaotic environment that Manila is quite known for. Something, which is also quite common in other large S. East Asian cities.
VERY good u have described all the things sooooooooooooo well... keep it up dude
i found a site http://destinationindia.co.in .take a look. U may get sumthing important
Angkor Wat It really depends on how much of the tourist trail you do. I've seen too much of that stuff so it gets all same same. If I had my time again there I would have done one long day starting sunrise to sunset get a tuk-tuk and see sunset at Pre Rup.
This is the link to my story. If you love to get a story than take a bike around - Cambodia have the worst bikes in the world!

Lovely pics Lovely amazing incredible photos. Petra is a marvelous place. It´s included in my next itinerary. You mention Angkor Wat. Did you do it in one day? I want to do so in near months. Can you help me with that? Thank you. Graciela.
Star Wars Not from what I figure
I 100% that it is in the Tunisia desert or around that area.
Of course that depends on which Star Wars you are talking about. But I assume I know which one.
The Israeli girls did you get any action from the Israeli girls? Thats one of the big reasons Im going to Israel. Those who say they don't care about the girls there is like saying they read Playboy for the Articles!!!
assumed nationalities I was in Iran in 2007, im from Mexico, and the majority of Iranian they claimed, if i was Iranian, in all cities even one old lady was a bit angered that i cant speak farsi.
Another nationalities assumed was Turkish, Pakistani, Azerbaijani and Italian. But never expect that i was Mexican.
Okay to clarify what Ima is trying to say First of all he thinks that I am a d!ckhead!
What he is trying to say about Borat is that Kazakhstan didn't ask to be promoted and taken the piss out of. (Which is fair enough) If they want to promote themselves they can choose what they want to promote and promote it when they want to.
With the whole countries had sorrows. There's alot of other countries in Africa and South America that have had the same if not worse situations then this area but they manage to be able to put a smile on their faces.
And the nightclub if it were the cheapest at $17aud than christ hate to hear the amount of the mid range. But he also could have been meaning the shittest which he is probably correct.
Thanks for the comment Ima!
