Dank u! Kom nu naar huis! So ... from gong show to bong show .... LOL, couldn't resist!
Well, Vancouver has decided to lay out its absolutely best weather for your return. Temps in the high teens and maybe even up to 20 on Monday, wow. We've been doing the "next week this time the Bergs will be back" thing for the last few days now. Better get those planners out so we can schedule a marathon information session. This time we'll bring the food and you can supply the night's stories and photos.
Enjoy Amsterdam, make sure your bags don't have "oregano crumbs" in the bottom (those Canadian sniffer dogs are deadly!), and have a safe flight back. Can't wait to see you.
me! haha - I have nooooooooo idea why it came up as me being anonymous - should have left you wondering maybe? hehe. Good thing I'm not the "blogger" !!! Have a great last day!!!
back to Marrakech Hey, thanks for the comments.....but who are you? It says anonymous and I'm not much of a guesser.
Paid to travel OK but I don't think I could get paid enough to bring the kids as a job, hahaha. Maybe that little kid travel show on treehouse???? That would be awesome!
April foolery Well happy April Fools! Our started with the best joke anyone has ever played on me ... SNOW!!! Yup, the Big Guy played quite a prank on us and made it snow the whole morning!
You guys are all looking great and I'm glad you got some pics with the whole family. Better let those Moroccans and tourists work a bit. After all this wonderful food, can it ever be mac and cheese ever again????
Hope you have a fun time in Amsterdam, hopefully you get another couple of blogs in before it's home-time. See you soooooooon!
Looks and sounds amazing!!! We sure look forward to your next entry's!! I think you'll have to keep travelling and blogging - you must be able to get paid doing it somehow?? With kids as cute as yours, I'd watch. :) Not bias. Pictures are amazing, was the camel "comfy" ?? :) Miss you guys!!!!
Sounds great! Sounds like a wonderful place. I like the breakfast! The kids look like they are having such a good time. Love the pictures and the blog! keep it up.
Frankie says... RELAX! Nice to hear you are doing some of that after being on the go for so long in the hustle and bustle that is Africa. The kids look happy and healthy - nice :) Sounds to me like you're bringing back the GDP of a small African country in souvernirs ... so much for your original resolutions. I look forward now to hear what you think of Amsterdam. Don't forget to bring back the 50lb round of cheese that we ordered ...
Wow, what a lot of really interesting things you are doing and seeing! A great read, three thumbs up! It's great to see family traits pass on. The bag Norah is looking at is a nice size handbag... Got the postcards from Sweden on Friday. Very cool.
Great stuff We'll still ask you to recount everything when you get home, not to worry. And we'll roll our eyes when you mention "When we were in Morocco..." for the 6th time in one night, or start comparing the Vancouver winters, transit, childcare, etc to everything in Sweden ... LOL, what are friends for but to be jealous and secretly drink in everything you say about these fabulous faraway places...
Life's good in Vancouver - went for a walk in the rain with the kids today (yeah, can you believe it's actually raining in Vancouver!!!??). Your house is still standing, at least from the outside! Jamie is now making sentences "Daddy go dere", "Put sock on", and the like, and has started asking "Knock, knock?" every now and again, the little comedian. Jared wants to bowl with Evan, so maybe you can come back this Saturday? LOL...
Love to the kiddos, and to Ricky-boy ... and I'm seriously starting to think I need to hear your voice again.
Found your blog Hi, looks like your having a good time in Morocco. Do theyhave boiled eggs for breakfast? We have booked our honeymoon, in april 9th we are leaving for Egypt!!! ;-)
Take Care!
Africa-style What a great cultural experience for you guys. It's always good to latch onto the locals. I'm amazed that there are that many tourists - didn't think it was such a touristy place.
I absolutely loved the picture of Norah with the bag as big as her!
Have you guys filled up a suitcase or two with souvenirs yet? Remember, a donkey takes up a lot of space...
Maybe you could ask for less food and get a discount ... then again .... naaaaaah, EAT ON.
Brrrr! Wow, everything looks so cold, especially after the sunshine we've been having here. Actually went outside with a t-shirt on this weekend!
How the bride managed that dress considering the weather there I don't know ... guess she was high on adrenaline.
You guys look like you are having a great time. Keep up the reports, we are devouring them at home.
Love,
Us
That sneaky little 'a' Hey Bergs, nice to see some pics up! I'm keen to heqr more qbout Morocco - lol, you seem q bit p'd off with Qfrica qlreqdy ... thqt's my girl!

We're ready for you to come bqck now, by the wqy...
LOVE reading the blog Moira and the pictures are awesome!!!! It all looks and sounds amazing!!!! Glad your out of the snow now and can enjoy some beach time!!!
Very Cool Trip!! Wow! I am impressed with your record-keeping skills so far. This is the first time I have sat down at the computer in about 2 weeks, so it was great to read everything so far. Sounds like the kids are going to be super travellers. Good luck with the rest of the trip! We miss you! BTW, the knitting club will be making dishcloths while you are gone (don't worry, lots of yarn will be left over for you to catch up, Rick!) <-- oops, I mean Moira!
Hi from PG WOW, sounds like you are having a great time. Glad you took the time to see the bridge. It is amazing! I will pass this on to Gram. Thanks for the blog. I look forward to it. Lan
Exciting! Sounds like you are having an exciting time!! Great that the kids didn't go crazy on the long flight. Would love to see pictures of the bridge. Will look for more.....xoxo
the Lagz Sorry the lags is getting to you guys so much. LOL that you could see everything there is to see in Härnösand in a couple of hours! LOL at me having to copy and paste Härnösand and you are able to type it no doubt!
Jared and I looked up pictures of the bridge, and it's pretty impressive, quite the Golden Gate... Then we watched some promotional video clip about Sweden on youtube, and after every picture he wanted to know, "Is that castle where Evan is right now? Is that bridge where Evan is right now? Is that building where Evan is right now? Is that... " You get the picture!
We'd loooove to see some pics, but take your time and settle in first. At least no more jet lag to deal with when you travel to Morocco and Amsterdam.
BTW, we had some Moroccon chicken for dinner last night in your honour, and will probably pop in to IKEA this weekend to show some solidarity....
Kisses to the kiddos
the adventure begins! Great to hear everything went well. It seems the kids are natural travellers like Mom and Dad. Rick, it must seem like a Pepsi coimmercial being back near the high coast bridge. Hope you all enjoy every minute. I am off to California this morning so will say hi to Mickey Mouse for you! I love you, Gramma.
Yay! I'm so excited for you guys! Must be you construction folk getting up to go see a BRIDGE in the morning! LOL, I'd probably be at the IKEA...
As long as Rick stay away from the 'chickens', I'm sure his Swedish phrases will only help you out while you're there.
Take lots of photos of those munchkins ... I would have given anything to hear Norah say "We're in Sweden?" - I can picture her saying that so clearly. Tell Evan that Jared is carefully following his progress around the world on a map.
Rest well, hope to see another posting soon.
