Mont Ventoux and Tarn Gorge 2014

Back to bag another one of cycling's famous climbs - Mont Ventoux, "the Giant of Provence" - and to return to an area I last visited in 1998 (as if I would remember). Many thanks to Brian Finch for the loan of a laptop so I could maintain this blog en route.
Say what you will about either the ravages of age or that the latter is just a number, my physical capabilities are definitely on the wane and I am now prone to wonder just how long I will be able to continue this folly of hauling my butt over hill and dale, at least without re-gearing.
