Hi Hong Ha,
How are you?
My father & his friends (all late 60's & 70's year old men) visited Dalat Highlands, Phan Thiet & My Tho last week (8 days). They visited the dragon fruit farm, coffee farm & vegetable farm & really enjoyed themselves. His friend has a business there & brought them around.
He bought a cornicle hat, some coffee powder & the little coffee making cup.
Take care

Hi Hong Ha,
Cao Dai temple has very beautiful architectural design & an interesting reliogion. The chinese are celebrating the dumpling festival on 13th June this month & will be eating dumpling [glutinous rice wrapped with bamboo leaves with (red beans, kidney beans etc & chestnuts for vegetarian version) or (pork, mushroom, dried shrimp & salted egg yolk for non-vegetarian version). We just had that last weekend.
Take care.
Leah

Great to hear from you & to read your posting :)
Vung Tau seems like a beautiful beach city & very well maintained. The night scenery is also beautiful. Your friend whose stays at Vung Tau must be like having holiday every day :)

Water Puppets Sai Gon Thanks for this interesting entry and the photos. I love the water puppets in Hanoi so it is good to see that the tradition is continuing in Sai Gon.
I love the buses in Saigon too Great blog. I also love to get buses in Saigon and see where they go. There's one, maybe no 7? That goes a long way through several districts to a can al where you can catch a car ferry across the water.
I am a Hanoi_girl who loves to travel. When working for a Japanese construction company in Hanoi, I had the chance to travel to 28 countries and to all the 63 provinces in Vietnam, including 25 trips to Huế city.
