i suck soo, i wish i had been a better friend and left a comment on all of your posts. however, somebody did not send out one of those big blanket emails asking for subscriptions (or at least i didn't get it) so i was out of the loop with the whole cole travelblog thing. i haven' really read any yet, but believe me, i will.
Forget the monkey Bring back the python. We need something to feed to our yetti.
Oh, I did skip to the pictures then went back to read everything. The the pictures some more ... and now I'm commenting ....
I concede! Yeah, you win big time. Congratulations!!! Your trip sounds so exciting, and all these animals? Lucky! I'm going to get to see you soon!! Yay!
No title for this comment Hey Bud, howdy from America! I hope you're having a great time in India, and really growing in your walk with the Lord too. School starts in three weeks so I'll see you soon (hopefully you'll be very ruggish from being out in the jungle so much). :D

You get to do all the cool stuff. Your pictures are real cool but I know that they don't do justice to experiencing what you are seeing. Well I am glad that you are going to a place that is hot. It will help you remember where you come from. It is still in the 100s here in Ft. Worth and we have forgotten what rain even looks like. Cole is the greatness.
Hey, bring back a hammock for the houses, oh and a monkey while you're at it. You are sorely missed here in Fayetteville, but you look as though you are enjoying yourself so it's okay. Have fun with all your schoolwork.
Nerd Answers Looks like your having a great time. To answer your nerd question we use all types of pollution abatement equipment including ESP's, scubbers, activated carbon filters and catalytic converters. In the business area I'm in (plastics) we primarily use baghouses for removing dust / particulates and use flares to burn off hydrocarbon waste gases. OK, it sounds nerdy but isn't always. Today we inspected the tips of two 150 foot tall flares while they were in service by using a radio control helicopter equipped with a digital camera. The helicopter was flown around the flare and took over 100 photos in about 10 minutes. The digital photos will be processed and enhanced to determine the condition of flare tip and if maintenance will be required in the near future. So if your parents told you spending all your time flying RC aircraft and not studying would get you no where, they were wrong. Enjoy the trip.
Too Amazing! I find it all so amazing - am speechless at some of your writings. The simplicity, the ornate, the majestic, and the cleanliness in all of your pictures. Even in such an impoverished country all people obviously take pride in their towns because it is amazing to see how clean the streets and sidewalks are in your pictures. Thanks for bringing this part of the world to me! Love, Aunt Janette
Yay! Cole, you sound like you are having so much fun! Those waterfalls are phenomenal. But, seriously, leaches? EWW! I hope your fun continues! When are you going back?
Beauty of Creation I love going to places like your describing. Your making me jealous man. It is just an amazing worship experience when you can see God's creation not messed up by man and that is just a taste of what it will be like when we get to heaven. You rock bro. Laters

nice weather Well its nice of you to brag about rain every night and the temperature in the 70's. Here in Ft. Worth, we can't even get down to 75 and today was the 9th straight day of 100+ degree heat. Oh yeah it hasn't rained in a while either. Glad you are enjoying your trip bro. I will make sure to keep checking your blog because I would hate for your self esteem to plummet.
Hi World Traveler: We are so excited about all the opportunities the Lord is giving you. Your blog is wonderful. Made me feel like I was there. Now that is scary thought - traveling to far and beyond with your crazy Aunt Christi. I am here making sure your mom behaves and other then that just taking up space in the hospital room. I am going to have your mom add me to your blog list so Uncle Kim and I can keep tabs on you and make sure you are behaving. I will forward it to Jeff. He is in the process of moving to Lethbridge (going to the University there in the fall) so will have lots of alone time to read all the emails that are gathering while he is connection-less. I know you are having a great time. Just take a sec and think of how much you are loved. Aunt Christi
Yay for steak! And making kids happy! It looks like you are seeing some amazing things and having so much fun. I'm so very excited for you! Being abroad is such an amazing experience. We are so blessed! I miss you, Colie-Olie! Seeing everyone in the fall is going to be so great! But, until then, see everything you can see...rest is for the states.
Jain monument Jain religion has 2 sects. One Digembar meaning "Sky Clad" and Shwetambera meaning "White Clothed". Ideologies of both the sect is same. Only difference is in how their monks clothe or not. Monks are spiritual gurus and are very highly regarded by Jain community, which is less in numbers but very influential and the wealthiest. A Digember monk leaves everything in the world to study and attain knowledge. This process of leaving clothes and everything materialistic is gradual. A monk can be initiated into monkhood only by “Acharyas”, senior monks through various tests& judgment. A Jain monk always walk by foot and never use vehicle to travel, They never stay at same place for more than 15-20 days and does not own anything. They eat once a day at the most and meal is pure vegetarian without root vegetables etc. Most of their time is spent in the study and some time in the sermons.
The picture you have shorn here is of Lord Bahubali who attained Nirvana in the beginning of this era. According to the story, Bahubali was one of the 2 sons of King Rishabhdev. When Rishabhdev renounced the world to get initiated into monk hood, he divided the kingdom between Bahubali and his elder brother Bharat. Bharat however wanted to become the king of whole world and so he had to fight with his own brother. So to avoid any unnecessary bloodbath, both kings decided not to involve army and to fight individually. Bahubali defeated Bharat but in the process realized that cause of the fight was meaningless. The kingdom was anyway supposed to go one day. There on, he renounced the world and became monk. After severe practice he attained Nirvana. This statute is depicting the pose when he was in the 2 years long meditation.
Wow Cole, those pictures are amazing--like something out of National Geographic. Do you want me to forward your updates to other people? If so, please tell me what you want me to do. I'm excited for you and all you are seeing and doing...but you are missed here.
Cole, we were so happy to hear that you were all right. I went over and stayed with your mom for a while and she gave me a complete update. I had a chance to say hi to Caroline. She was very nice on the phone. A real up beat person, I like that. Hope you are doing well. I love the pictures and the one with you in the skirt is to funny. Take care Love Aunt Cheryl
