Sorry for the run-together but that's pretty much how we're feeling - we're here - how weird is that? After much waiting and a teary goodbye at the airport (it was dusty in there, ok?), we headed off. HK airport was cool with a sweet little airport lounge with good foods, crazy little beds and the gruntiest shower known to mankind. We jumped on another flight to Beijing and then before we knew it we were in China, baby (yes, I know Hong Kong is technically in China but let not get technical). And gosh, was the airport impressive - the place was huge (but more about the hugeness later).
