dear DJ and katie:
i was thinking about you and reading the backlog for the umpteenth time and am looking at this journal, and now I can't get "i wanna dance with somebody" out of MY head. thanks. :)
XOXO,
Ryan.
Welcome to Texas! Glad you made it safe and sound. Enjoyed the tour of DJ domain. That fireplace might be more welcome than you think. We have a little think called an Ice Storm which can be exciting. DJ will find it gets colder here in the winter than he thinks. BUT it could be 80 the next day. Enjoy!!
Where's your house? I looked up your new address on Google Earth, and it puts the pointer in the middle of a big road T-intersection. There is a big field (that's at the top of the T part) and a few complexes (with pools). You'll have to find a satellite pic of your building so we can be sure you're living in an acceptable place. :-) It's all out of love.
Sounds like fun Sounds like you are having an adventure!!!!
Take your time today - if needed...Maybe Uncle Jim can suggest a good Dr. for DJ to test our on Friday!....Love you both
Can I just say that i heart that picture that you're taking out of the hotel room? I love that your reflection is in the window. I like neat things like that. :)
Not in New England (Kansas?) Anymore! Now that you are in the south, you might want to try a sourthern chain of hotels. La Quinta's are very good, cheaper than many, better than Motel 6. Always a free breakfast! OR do you plan to make it to Lewisville tonight?
Think good thoughts I'm a little concerned about you driving through R-Kansas. It is my experience that R-Kansas does not like cars from the North and does everything it can to break them. Make sure you have all of your headlights, they tend to leap out of your front end as if your vehicle were projectile vomiting. Also, other drivers don't look as they change lanes. They are worse than Mass-holes. So watch out!
West Memphis is just R-Kansas' way of fooling unsuspecting tourists in spending their hard earned money there instead of on Beale Street. I wouldn't be surprised if West Memphis was a dry town, just because.
Something tells me DJ has a case of the nerves and that is what is upsetting his belly so much. I love you DJ! I am sending you feel better hugs!
Another reason you need... This silly blogg page thinks your last entry was the one from yesterday morning!!!! hard to find the latest to print for Nanny. Have a great visit today in Memphis! (Use Spring Hill Suites Internet to upload some more Pix and video!) Love Ya!
Katie, if I ever have to take an extended road trip, I'm finding you and taking you with me, end of story. You had me nearly rolling on the floor laughing.
Don't let Marriott Get away with it! Hey there - Call the Marriott folks - They have a room guarantee. And it is not like you have never stayed at a Spring Hill Suites!!!! Anyway I like the truck picture - you should have BUZZED the bikers - You probably could have threaded fortis between those little two wheelers...wait you have a little 4 wheeler - never mind. Glad you made it to Memphis!!!! Hope you are feeling better...Thanks for the technology assist - Love Ya!!!!
Oh, friends. Hi. I hope you're fully taking advantage of gaining an hour of time by doing some awesome stuff like sleeping for an extra hour. Also, does not the 70 mph speed limit rock? The end.
My first time to follow a blog Enjoying your blog-please include weather reports. I just came in from planting my (organic) tomatoes. It isd great gardening day in NH-overcast, occasional light rain.
Problem with the new charger? Hope the battery was just not in tight enough. By the way baby birds are fine. Two littel heads were peaking over the edge of the nest when I came home today. Hee hee - Just went out now and they were back down - bet their mom told them to cut it out! Love ya!
I can't believe you are almost in TX Hi kids! I miss you and wish I was there to hear all of the interesting things. Make sure to rest and take turns. Did you have any rain or hail? We have not had any weather reports. (I have been reading all of your pages - your mother has been printing them out. This morning she came to cracker Barrell without the new pages. I wanted to send her back!) Love Nanny!
This mission began early in 2007 when DJ learned that he could be transfered to Texas. After deciding to go to Texas, DJ asked Katie, his younger sister, to make
the journey with him by car. Why have your company ship your car when you can have a company sponsored road trip?!
Origin: Londonderry, NH
Final Destination: Lewisville, TX
