It was the day after the wedding and we decided to slip off to somewhere quiet where we could eat at a restaurant and stay at a bed and breakfast. My suggestion, Schwetzingen, was a lot closer than I realized. It is about 15 kilometers from Mannheim. It was still nice to see. It couldn't have been better weather for an April wedding in Germany. Lots of sunshine, great food, and a bride and groom dressed to impress! We had our ceremony at the Maratim Hotel in Mannheim and the party at the Rhein Terressa right on the Rhein river very close to our apartment. Not only were we blessed with a great wedding but also with so many wonderful guests.
