A new specimen?
Hi you two. Have enjoyed your blogs as usual and such lovely pictures. Sheila, I notice you have found a new companion - did he grow the beard etc for Movember? I tried to get Pete to grow one but he didn't think he could stand it. Maybe its a jungle thing! Keep enjoying and make the most of it, I can't remember where you are going to be for Xmas but feel it maybe Dubai - not long now! We are off to Prague on the 12th for 3 nights which I am looking forward too. Chris XX

Tramp
Great photos (as always). So glad you are still enjoying the experience & getting to see most, if not all, the wildlife you hoped to see. John asks where you picked the tramp up from ...... xx

On the side of the road....
Hi you two - Great to hear from you and glad that you are enjoying the blogs and yes the wildlife is superb. I lost Paul in San Jose and picked the 'tramp' up on the side of the road - he is good company, the monkeys particularly like him and come close so that I can get some good shots!!!! Love Sheila & Tramp........

Skywalk & pictures
Well done you Sheila for tackling the skywalk. It must have felt good to know that you are able to tackle heights with more ease now - even if you were glad to get across in the end. The pictures of the wildlife are fantastic, so much diversity. No-one needs to travel or even visit wildlife parks anymore, we can just wait for your next blog & pictures! Enjoying following your travels. Love to you both (even the scruffy one). xx

That seals the deal - we have to visit CR next autumn! Save all your tips for us please. Your photos make Jim very envious. Safe travelling, love S & J

WOW is certainly not enough!
Looks as if you are having a fantastic time. The birds/wildlife and local colour all look amazing. Definitely encouraging to head there next winter. We have just completed Nile cruise which Jim handled well and now we are having a week in Luxor before returning to UK for 4 days and flying to Singapore on 25th. Hope the fun continues for you, stay safe and keep the photos coming, love to you both, Jim & Sue

Glad you are enjoying Egypt
Hi Jim & Sue - Good to hear that all is well and that you enjoyed your Nile Cruise. We leave tomorrow for San Jose and then on to Tortuguero on the Caribbean Coast so should see some different flora and fauna there. Monteverde area was really superb for wildlife so put that on your 'things to do list' when you finally get to CR. Looking forward to hearing all you news as you travel around Australia - are you going to do a blog again? Take care and safe travels with love from Paul and Sheila, Silvernomads in CR

Be cautious about the hair removal cream
Last month end (Oct 2012) I visited the spice garden with a group. I also got the hair removal cream (US$15) for a small bottle. After reaching India, I tried that on my skin. My skin has not become very smooth as he showed. After applying I got burning sensation on my skin. It doesn't work as they showed. Really I am duped. For good I did not buy the other things. In my group many people spent a lot on fat reducing medicine, diabetic medicine, green oil for migraine etc. etc.

Yes the cream did not work......
Hi there - thanks for your message on our blog. We had the same problem when we returned home and tried the cream it did not work, we were lucky though that we did not have any adverse effect - but just put the bottle in the dustbin......

Tick List
You are surely making fast work of ticking off the wildlife you hoped to see in that part of the world, the photos are gorgeous & we are keeping our fingers crossed that "nature" calms down a bit & doesn't shake, rattle & roll any more for you. Keep well, love from us both. xxxx

turtles
Hello Sheila & Paul Your turtle trip looked amazing ! I didn't go much on the journeys though as fast flowing water is scary.I loved the parrots too. We are all doing ok. Lucy is improving but they are now going to do a ct scan on her heart so hopefully will get that soon.Sally is going to Tokyo for 6 months with work probably from mid Nov but will be home for Christmas so it will be a great experience for her.We will miss her terribly but will go there to visit so it will soon pass over.Take care & lots of love J xxx

WOW, what more can you say!
Oh, this was what we have been waiting for, it looks fantastic. You are so lucky to have managed to get through to the beach. I have seen turtles come ashore before but only one at a time. The arribada must be spectacular! We were worried we might not catch your blog as our signal is weakening but after 20 mins it arrived. The scarlet macaws look great too, so I hope CR is living up to expextations. Jim due at consultant'stomorrow so hope we might get a clearer timeline for traveling then, but I know they are reluctant to commit themselves. Cold and windy here between the rain, at least your rain is warm. Looking forwards to lots more photos, have fun and travel safely Love, Jim & Sue x

Oh wow - so jealous!
Oh - it looks like we missed a real treat not doing this section of the cruise. Charlie would have loved to see the Nurse Shark especially (but maybe not the Giant Groupers - ha!). Great photos as always. We've just got back home now - and we're missing Australia already! Di x

Great round-up!
Hi Paul and Sheila - great round-up of the cruise - ahhh fond memories! Charlie was delighted at his mention in your blog - and he is inordinately proud of his scar (in fact he was disappointed when it started to heal, as he wanted it to be bigger!). Was so much fun to spend time with you, and it's great to read about your further Australian adventures - I'm off to read what the second part of the cruise was like! Di

One upmanship!
Hi you two. Great picture of the frog in the loo - I guess that betters our experience of a frog in a mug in the sink! Think I prefer them in the sink though! Keep enjoying your adventure.

G'Day from Vic
Hi Sheilla and Paul, Really enjoying hearing and seeing your trip. The weather down hear is similar to that of your "PommeCountry". Yesterday the temp. was 1deg! with sleet and snow! Thank you for "Insulting Us" saying the Melbourne Football club is black and white!!!!!!! If you look at your Demon Room photo the colours are RED and BLUE! The black and white colours (Collingwood) are our staunch enemy!! But you are excused as you are pomms. Love to you both Jill and Pete x
