Very nice, I've never been to Colorado, yet we may try to get to Deer Valley/Park City for some skiing with Max next winter. Beautiful photos. You left the East Coast at the right time, it's only 138 degrees in Boston today.

The mountains are beautiful in Winter Park and it seems to be dotted with unique and creative items that you don't have a clue why anyone made them! Looks like you are enjoying lots of sunshine.

Santa Fe
One of our Favorite Cities; an artist colony town. We have 3 paintings from a Woman Painter, Sara M. Novenson, who does unbelievable landscape series, bursting with color! Her studio was on the main st of the artist studios.Have fun in a fun place....

We missed all of this!
Yesterday’s blog and today’s educated me royally. I now know when driving thru Texas, don’t take I-35. We visited friends in Harlingen in mid 90s. Took I-35 all the way up to Minnesota and you can be sure we never saw any of these interesting things. Always thought Texas was big and boring. I so enjoyed reading about oil drilling and the massive rock formation. Have a good day tomorrow. Hi Steve.

FEELING BETTER
Thanks for asking...everyday making more progress in walking longer and further. Doing mild exercises per the Physical Therapist who visits me 3x per week. Karen doesn't let me get away with anything...and I mean anything!!

Scooters
The scooters are all over DC. They leave them anywhere they want. I passed a few of them on the sidewalk near our home. Too bad you missed River Walk but I understand the heat problem.

I appreciate the positive commentary and the photos. Living in the Northeast it’s nice to see the beauty of the gulf as well as the landscape blight that provides us the ability to heat our homes with oil and natural gas as well as fuel our cars. Your description of some of the roads underscores the need to invest in our infrastructure.
