Wow!! What an exciting day of Segway Polo! Yes this is Christie writing this and yes I mean it, no joke! We got another wet start for the final day of the cup. But the guys did not let it get them down. Steve from the Black Rose and Daniel from the Flyin’ Fish decided that they’d give it a go anyway. Take a look at the video; it’s worth the time! Hallo Freunde! We both woke today feeling more like ourselves! So we headed down to enjoy some breakfast before we started our day. After getting a blank stare when I ordered a vanilla latte (I even dropped the "skinny part") I settled on the machiatto she offered. Which by the way was way yummy & tomorrow at breakfast I will be ordering my machiatto the german way....machiatto danke schön! Oh and for the record I have seen three Starbucks while I have been here, maybe they really are taking over the world one mocha at a time! After breakfast we bought tickets for the tram and waited, and waited and waited some more for a tram that was supposed to come every 20 minutes! Hallo Freunde! Preparations are well underway for the Woz Cup 2009 in the Ross household! Rob is so proud of the new Gold Rush jerseys and his prized new helmet. You may have noticed the "photo montage" he posted on his facebook account. He'll be the only player on the field with a custom helmet painted by none other than the great Art Himsl! Seriously, Art Himsl. He's been busy practicing with a new mallet & talkin' strategy. With as many late night calls from the mysterious "Oz" over the last few weeks, a girl could question if he was having an affair.
