Hi Everyone it has been awhile since I have blogged we have been going on a lot of day trips in France which I will blog more about in future blogs. today I am going to blog about my visit to the Aquarium I lot of what I am going to talk about is out of a book I have read about this Aquarium and my visit I went to the Aquarium and it was amazing. This is the best Aquarium I have ever seen. You walk through a tunnel and there is water all around you with sea creatures inside. There were sharks , sting-rays, all different kinds of sea life in this tunnel. The Aquarium opened in 1925 and has been visited by more than 12 million people. I went to an centuries old Catholic Church for my friend's first Communion. There was about 20 boys and girls receiving first communion. After the communion we all walked over to the restaurant for a big party. We ate gigantic lunch , included shrimp, filet mignon, wine, sidra, deserts, other kinds of fish, lots and lots of food. We all played together The party lasted from 2:30 until 10:30, then Grandma and I came home we were exhausted. The place that we went for lunch was a very fancy restaurant. First Communion is a major event here and you receive lots of presents. Where we went was up some outside escalators which we rode and then walked a couple of blocks to the restaurant. Papa has a friend who owns a restaurant and Papa ordered a certain kind of fish And he told me he would go looking for this fish for us to eat and he told us that he would look at the fish's eyes and if the eyes were clear it was a really good fish and if the eyes were clouded it was a okay fish. He found us a really good fish and we ate it. I am a member of the Athletic Bilbao club. I really like the members of this club they are very nice to me. Today I went to San Sebastian and walked around the historic old section. I saw a Cathedral that is hundreds of years old, the beach at San Sebastian is big and beautiful with cool little patterns on the sand. There is an antique merry go round which I went on. Hondarribia is where I am staying and there is an old fort here a couple of blocks away. The fort is now housing people , restaurants, shops. The road is made of stones. We saw a big building with canon and bullet holes in it from a past war. "the Basque won" Everyone here is wonderful and nice to me.
