La Rochelle train station was a hive of activity as the train from Paris pulled in.Andy met me just outside the station looking for all the world as if he had just come from the beach.After the greetings and hellos we set off for the Hotel on the bike.La Rochelle was full with people enjoying the early evening sunshine and after leaving the bags in the hotel we set off to have a beer.We were spoilt for choice for Restaurants and finally decided on Asian cooking specialising in Vietnamese,Thai and Chinese.Fantastic and a special thanks to the charming and very attractive "White cloud" as she told us her name was.On the way back to the hotel we came across an irish pub and just had to have a nightcap or two!!!! ... read more

All is ready for the start.Andy arrives in La Rochelle on the afternoon of the 11 august. I will be arriving after a horror trip from Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura - Las Palmas - Madrid - Paris - La rochelle. As soon as i have the chance I will let you know our route.
