zip ride I would love to have been on that zip line with you guys. What fun. Glad you are having a great trip. Sure anxious for you to get home -- Love you bunches, Nama
Wonderful to hear from you. It's so great that you guys got to go to Jamaica and lounge in the sun and do all that other stuff. Have fun and we can hardly wait until you return with pictures and stories. Love you both bunches -- Nama
Sounds like fun! I've never been anywhere in South America, and hardly know anything about Peru, living in Australia and all, but it looks like a really beautiful country. and the Huascaran National Park (from the Wikipedia page) looks particularly impressive too. Machu Pcchu definitely looks the most interesting though, and I'm sure you're going to have an awesome trip over there.
WOW! I have so enjoyed reading about your amazing trip. I am agog of all the beautiful pictures and places you have been in the short time you have been there. However, Welcome HOME!! Love you bunches, Nama
Glad you found Paris enjoyable as much as i did :)
It's weird you're not supposed to take pictures of the mona lisa because it ruins the picture but oh well ;)
@Kimber
are you kidding! All the art pictures I take are for you!
@mom
Yes! Her eyes do follow you around. It was very neat. And, yeah, I'm really in Corpus. Its an elaborate sham! Clara told me yesterday I stood the same too much - she said 'mix it up a little' (Hence the photo of me in front of the pyramid, I'm in a different stance).
@Sarah Spofford
There were a LOT of people in front of it, so we had to run up quickly, snap, move. :(
Love the pictures I'm so thrilled you are getting to see so many places in Europe. What a great adventure. You three are quite the gad-abouts. Have fun and stay well. Love you bunches, Nama
I subdued my jealousy (used the correct tense this time!!) to be able to read this entry.
The pose with the statue is awesome!
Keep enjoying yourself nerdface - thankies for the postcard x3!!
Mona's Eyes..... Did her eyes follow you across the room like they say? Are you sure you are not photo-shopped into some of these pics....you are in the same stance in several! Maybe you're not really there and just want us to think you are! Ha ha! Have great fun and come home with stories of adventure!
Paris Ryan, You will find much tastier cuisine in Paris! Be sure to eat quiche, cafe eclairs (A treat I still crave, even after 5 years!), and plain old french bread. (American style french bread doesn't compare.) We also ate middle eastern food there, and it was delicious...very flavorful.
Sorry to hear you didn't like the chicken crisps...we love them. They certainly gave our tastebuds something to cheer about after some of the food we had been eating.
You said the McDonald's was bad there...but did they have limp, pink bacon like Japan? Ha!
I love reading your blog...you're so articulate and honest in your observations.
I bet that old lady on the train is telling everyone how some "Yank" saved her life this morning! Good job!
Enjoy Paris!

wow... well, sugar, first of all I must say I am diggin that faux-hawk. and the jaunty military-style jacket.... And there is nothing wrong with an all candy diet what with all that walking you're doing. I am supremely jealous (of the whole trip, obviously) but most especially of Dublin. (my all time #1 place I want to go!) I can just see myself wearing sparkly green shoes and doing a happy little step dance while swilling down a foamy draft of dark beer....haha. If you find a little peice of me over there, just leave it...it's happy being Irish!
Really, though, it looks as if you are having a wonderful time and have seen some amazing things already....maybe your luggage will catch up with you soon! Love Ya!
Of course! We saw the amazing clock, and we toured the hedge maze, which, was somewhat pitiful considering the size of the maze he originally had there...but that's ok. We enjoyed it! I have pictures of the amazing clock, too.
Hampton Hey, did y'all see the amazing clock inside the entrance of Hampton Court? Did y'all go through the hedge maze? You didn't mention it, so I'm doubting. You make me so homesick to go back...yes, I used the term "homesick".
Surely there is a better way...... It seems you should be able to connect the tube, the rails and the buses so you don't have to walk so much! Maybe you guys should look into renting a car....or little Vespas! (Ciao, beep beep!) :) Glad you are having such a great time, love you and miss you but see you soon. mummy
