Enjoyed Your Joy Good photos, nice record of your trip. My family will be visiting Guat during Semana Santa - fortuitously that week corresponds to our kids' Spring Break. Am a little skittish about the boat trips across Lake Atitlan - heard the waters can be rough in the afternoons. Shalom! efix@pcdi.com
Obviously you like monkies Mark,
Your blog is great - All great writing should be a combination of Jewish text and tweny-first century cultural references. Who knew Guatemala would be so exciting? To mix cultural references, I will be eating at the Pico Taco stand on the night of Aug. 5th will you be there? Stay away from the monkies, Dave Chappelle told me thats where Aids came from.
Keep up the good work!
Nice Blog Wow I am impressed, How's is going over there, sounds like your having a great time. We were in Belize and it was great, I layed on a hammock half the time, were just settling into portland and its beautiful.

A Holy Man... Rav Mark,
I just want to say that you are one of the few people I know in the world that really work hard to practice what you preach and that is an amazing quality!! May you be blessed in all that you do
Shalom
Hamra and Shichra... Rav Mark...
As I am here in LA sweating and learning for the daf exam I came accross the many comments about brewing beer, and thought of you!! Was it not Rav Papa who said, "had I only been a brew master..." You are a great man who has taught me much... now go have a beer for me down there....
Mark... male stripper? I think that's the beginning of a Joke... a rabbi and a male stripper walk into a crazy bar in Guatemala.....
We miss you up here. HOpe you're having a ton of fun.
Thank God ! Dear Rabbi Goodman, we are so glad you made it safely to Central America. There was a problem with your grades at the UJ and we need you to come back and redo your course work.
Be good, have fun and find holiness everywhere!
Good Shabbos!
