Hi, All - Bob and I are staying in a campground on the outskirts of Ottawa right now, our second day here. Yesterday we roamed around the town and I took about 200 photos of this magnificent city. It’ll take me a few days to pare them down and edit them, so instead I’m sending you photos I took at the Adirondack Museum, which is quite wonderful and consists of at least 10 buildings. Bob and I spent two weeks in Mystic in July, minding the grandchildren for 8 of those days -- all by ourselves. We then recuperated for the remainder of the second week plus Bob tried to finish up making some improvement to the Bigfoot RV. We'd had to leave for Connecticut before all the work had been done. Then we spent a couple of days with one of his sisters near Reading, PA and then home. Our two kitties, Jasmine and Becky, were a delight on the trip, just great travelers. I'm understanding better and better why older people get pets, not kids (unless they are little goats). Our new(ish) Bigfoot is great! We can pass each other in the aisle and can pick up the soap we dropped in the shower. What luxury! Our next ... read more
