Words that hurt can change who we are Once again someone has obviously given you their opinion of your "Wildflower" ways. I adore and admire the way you have turned all those negative words into something positive. Without those positive thoughts you could crumble in on those comments. The people who have those thoughts are generally the ones who can not think outside the box. Oh, what a boring life they must live or they are so unaware of the beauty that lies outside of those four walls. May all your life find you on the outside looking in, for your arena will far surpass those within those four walls. Love and miss you. Keep writing. There was an ad for a journalist over on Anna Maria Island for the local paper. I told Uncle Mike that it would be perfect for you LOL
Beautifully Written... Really, I am finding that you are getting better at this penning of yours....must be all the dictionary cheating you have taken up lately :)
Seriously, I love reading your blogs, I have not responded to the last one, mainly because it was special and I have not had the time to just sick back and comment or whatever it is we do when responding to blogs !!
Jan has kept us going faster than the speed of light. She started at the Orange Theory gym and now I go as well, but she is super inspired and you would be very proud of her work rate. Must admit it is nice to be getting fit again.
Tell me....when one pee's into a bucket, does it splash up and wet your bum ?
Miss you madly, take care xx
You are incredible and I thank the Universe for making our paths cross repeatedly. I miss you and too cannot wait to one day live close by. I remember our wine chitchats with a pang of anxiety that it may not happen soon enough again. You crept into our hearts, made yourself comfortable and never left. We love you and cannot wait to have time with you again.

Embrace! Hey Gorgeous,
Glad you are settling and starting to embrace where you are and what you have around you. Your life will always have travel and adventure, and each path you take will lead you to where you ultimately want to be. I can't wait for it to bring you south :) Even if it is just for a little while.
Love you.

You had me nervous OK I must admit that as I read this blog I thought,"Oh no, she doesn't get the journey. As I read further, I realized that you did understand it. Only as we step outside our box can we see the beauty that truly surrounds us. Yes Toto, even in Ohio. Sometimes the most simple things can bring us true bliss. I truly believe as I have grown older that no matter where we are we are always on that journey. A vacation or being at sea is a true journey but also being with our family and enjoying a quiet moment with a cup of tea is also part of that journey. So seek the beauty that surround you on a daily basis and don't project too much past today. As they say, "Today is the present" Embrace it.
Wow!! I just came accross your blog and it seems soooo interesting!! I'd really like to follow your adventure! I hope you do not Mind!!! Happy and safe Travels!

Gypsy ? Nice blog once again.................Might sound corny, but why dont you watch "Eat,Pray,Love" again, get all inspired and then go do what she did. Maybe you need some alone time to reflect.....certainly cannot harm.
Alternatively come back here and we can fill you with wisdom :)
xx
Too True You capture so many of my thoughts in your words/blogs. Sometimes you even write words that I didn't even realise were so true to me until I read it. You're kind of like a really good comedian who brings your attention to the things in life that are so true, and in their case, so funny, but you almost don't even realise it at the time. Sometimes our life is so hectic that you go through all these experiences and changes in life, but it's so fast paced that you don't stop to actually think about it and take it all in. For me, your words capture all my thoughts, some of which I've already thought about, but also others which I haven't, but make so much sense and I totally agree with.
Thank you for doing some of my thinking and realisation of life for me.
Love and miss you, you special lady xxx
life I've learned that this exact rollercoaster description is true for anyone in any situation...I think its called "life"... everyday I remind myself to appreciate the now, because otherwise I fear I will miss out on the smaller moments to appreciate in life while Im thinking ahead or of the past... I love where I\'ve been, where Im at, and so I am even more excited for the future, but rushing it scares me because time seems to be flying by... and before you know it we will be little old grannies in rocking chairs on the front porch thinking to ourselves how quickly it went:)
Nice blog Wish i could also plan a weekend break like this. Its true that our hectic life takes a toll on us. We have to learn how to manage everything perfectly. The blog is written very nicely, felt good after reading it.
To Dee Pearce Bonjour from Tahiti! I somewhat agree with your friends statement. The true beauty of French Polynesia is definitely outside of Tahiti. Its a good spot to have as a base but I would recommend going everywhere else. Tahiti is an overpopulated city placed in the middle of the Pacific.
Great blog Amanda...question, some people I know went to Tahiti and said there was a lot of garbage on the side of the road-kind of like in Mexico. Is that true? Would you recommend going straight to Moorea and skip spending any time in Tahiti?
Back at work , are we ? Hey Amanda....I am guessing by the tone that you are on charter or getting ready for charter :)
Nicely written, it has been a while now. Your pics have been amazing.
We are in the Bahamas and missed you terribly the last month with guests onboard :)
There is a tropical storm on its way now, going to go over DR tonite, and then we make a decision to head back to FL or hide out here.
Missing you lots and hope you are enjoying the experience.

ps. my white picket fence is looking good :)
:) You are my first non-family member to respond and you have no idea how you have made my year. I Thank YOU a million times over. I agree age is just a number and your soul should stay young and innocent forever. I hope we never lose our sense of wonder... stay tuned :)
Dare to dream I just found your blog and love your stories and adventure. When I was young I would dream of becoming a dashing swashbuckling pirate, robbing spanish galleons and kidnapping my lady fair and sail into the sunset in a romantic bliss. I've lived a blessed life, raised wonderful children and soon to retire! I hope to do what you are doing. As for me you are never to old to be young at heart. Keep the blog coming and educate me of your expierance and dare to dream
Perfect words Could not have put it better myself. The highs and lows of what we do. Very difficult to understand until you experience it.
I MISS YOU! x
Life is crazy. As mundane as any life can become, that life can also change just as quickly. It can become altered, wildly different than before or ever imagined. 5 years ago if someone sat in front of me and told me what my next five years would entail; I would have never believed them. There are people like me, people like us, of whom I consider few among many that dream forever and those dreams naturally shape our lifeline in ways we had only envisioned.
I grew up in a family that taught me no goal or dream is too big, an innocence I hope to never lose but often times find my faith in t... full info
