Interesting post Akwaaba to Ghana. Shame you're not staying as long as others are able to. I snickered at the thought of ur friends collecting stuff from hotels to pass to the kids?! wow...talk about cost-cutting!;-) As for the rain, enjoy it whilst it lasts; it can get frightfully hot!!
Sounds Like Legon Enjoyed ya post. As a former "product" of Legon I can relate to the story of the late lecturer and the dishing out notes without explanation...sound like the Legon I know. Hope U leave with a good impression of Ghana..have U checked out local bars and Labadi on Thursday evening. Great time here
volta Nina- Upon reading of your lasttwo blogs, I have come to the conclusion that you should become a writer for National Geographic!! I didn't know you had such talent to tell a story. I guess it is easy if you have a great environment and adventures!! I am happy you are having such a great time - keep being safe that is all I want ( well, maybe sime beautiful material to make a tablecloth wouldn't be so bad) HA HA Love you sooooo much" M
hi honey buns !! I'm missing you like crazy! I liked reading about your walk over the forest- prettycool! Do you ever see any butterflies or birds that are out of the ordinary? Take some pictures of all you can so all the friends at home can see the wonders that you are blessed to see. They still don't have services in the church above the slave den do they? Hope not- it is terrible how people used to think of others as hethens, devils, witches, etc. just because they were different. Prejudice still lives on to this day but not so extreme as it was back then. I await to here of your next adventure- do you have time to go to class?? I went for my physical with Cynthia Dalsing and we were comparing notes... her son is in Germany and complaining he has to read a book for a class he is taking and it's interferring with his sightseeing!!! Anyway, have fun, be careful and don't let the bugs bite!! Love you, mom
pink elephants Good morning Obruni! I liked the way you handled walking into the classroom. The next time went to class, did anyoone come over to greet you? What do you think of the level of education you have experienced so far? Does it seem like a repeat of some past class or is it comparable to your current classes at Boise? I hope you have a wonderful trip to t-he coast- do you think we can try to skype again?? Let us know... Love , mom
