Paris What you wrote about Paris and the photographs were great, brought back memories of when we visited Paris quite a few years ago especially the cobbled streets and also the artists. It was all very descriptive. Look forward to seeing more of what you write, hope you keep it up..Jude said are you the Michael Palin of Europe
¡Hola! Hello my friend.
Glad that one of us is living the boho dream. Sounds like you are having a brilliant romantic time - hope you are working hard on that novel!!! Just spent a weekend in Barcelona myself and it was fantastic. Much recommended. You must drop in on your travels. Bit of advice, look up BCN lofts whilst you are there. They are a hostel company and they have a few flats just off La Rambla. Absolutely blinding.
Bit of a newsflash: will definitely be in the US in summer. I'm doing the ol' camp America.
Anyway, take care. I love the blog - it's very well written. Keep it up.
i've planned a trip to paris towards the end of may and was a bit apprehensive traveling solo but reading your journal helped ease the apprehension and i can't wait to go and see paris again. great photos too. thanks, man.
I love your entries You obviously have time to think...and wander around aimlessly like I do. Of course I can get bored with my company too (haha!). Your perceptions are quite profound and those photos are absolutely beautiful. Keep up the great work.
bookshop excellent stuff james. the bookshop sounds good. perhaps you can get me a job there.
I suppose you weren't tempted to jog with the Japanese then ?
Let me know details of the hostel you move to .
enjoy yourself and let's hope the weather warms up soon
Hi James, wow this is an impressive blog, your actually putting loads of effort in. I only visited paris once on a school trip and the weather was bad, but we were 14 and able to buy alcohol in france, was fun. Don't forget to tell us about who you meet too.
i sympathize, the one and only time i went to paris it rained for three days. i remember my mate got conned by a wrist vendor at those cathedral steps, they're obviously old pros.
Just out of interest, how heavy is your bag this time? If I know you, you'll be ripped like our here governor by the time you make it home.
Have you wandered round the cemetary in an overcoat listening to the cure trying to find Oscar Wildes grave yet? Give him a kiss from me if you pass that way.
Safe Journey I must say your quite the travel writer, I look forward reading more about your various excursions on the continent. I'm really quite jealous of you and wish I could do what your about to do.
Any how, all the best. Take care, love from Matt
p.s I got your letter yesterday with the recordings - cheers.
