Finally applied for my Australian Working Holiday Visa. My parents migrated here 3 years ago and since then i have been teaching English in South Korea. Now I get to work over here, spend 3 months harvesting fruit/veg to get another year here. 2 years to find out what i really want to do, get some hands on experience in conservation education and charity work. Of course meet some lovely people on the way.
First stop = Melbourne to stay with my parents for Christmas.
Then, work in Melbourne CBD, off to Sunshine Coast to fruit pick, holiday to Perhentian Islands to mix it up a bit, then road trip up the East Coast with my fellow fruit picking friends. Then to a farm to finish farm work hours and finally back to Melbourne to top up funds for trip back to Korea. And thats all in the first year!!
Im half way through this trip, so up until October 2011 it will all be looking back on what has happened. Hopefully i will be able to keep it more up to date than my Korean blog!!
