Caught up now on all your travels!! Hi,
Finally been and read all your entries since I last logged on here - still looks very fun. In particular your walk on/down the Colca Canyon, views look really spectacular! Hope all is still good in Peru... very interesting all the little tips on how to see the best of the country (taxi drivers) and can't get over that they double book the seats with the locals lol...
Take care,
Steven
mikey mikey mikey!!! =p how're you recently, i keep missing ur phonecalls! (typical lol) englands been having a bit of a hot spell, but i think the good weather has been forecasted to break just as we leave for dorset unfortunately! i noticed you in a (new?) orange t-shirt in 1 of these pics, and ur hair is looking very blonde in the sun! keep it up and it'll look like it did when you were little! just got ur postcard from Arequipa, looks nice there, hope you had fun! Alicia and Sid (Peruvian couple) came round yesterday and we had a look at ur piccies (the ones that loaded) on the wii. Alicia seemed really interested, she'll probably want to have a chat with you about it all when you get back.

I thought the school mini bus was bad... You looked awefuly comfortable in that cosey bus there! It's wet and misrible in Derby so it's not all bad in Puru eh?
Cya soon, Rob
P.S. me and Sawar wiped the floor with Jimmy and Pete at badminton so you and james can go cry!!!
yo bruv! I am SO shocked that you've seen Harry Potter before me!!! I'm personally offended (although I'm seeing it in less than 4 hours!!)
Bet I'll read the book before you though! Comes out tomorrow (VERY excited here!! I think Harry's gonna die!) But anyhoo I hope you're still recovering nicely and having a great time! Loving your photos (have you seen mine on photobucket??). Talking of which, whos your ginger mate on the hitchhiker photo- gigi (my crazy friend with the other comment =p) wanted 2 know. (v. cheesy of course, but looked like that v. long, v. straight, v. desserted road from the Mr Bean movie!!!) But keep having fun (even though we ALL think you've been gone too long and need to come home!!!)
Love, Lari xxxxxx

Awesome-ness! Wow, those are some amazing pictures, look like you're having a load of fun now that your plane problems have been bridged.
Lol, Don Miguel is much more fitting for you in Peru, I hope you've taught your travel buddies to call you by your rightful title ;)
Take care man and have fun.
Ancienttt! Hi there explorer!
Glad you're still Ok and not been stolen or anything. Those pics are really good - make the most of that glorious 'summer' weather 'cause its a lot more than you're gonna get here! Its still raining, and some parts of Doncaster are still flooded as the water has nowhere to drain away!
Its the wettest June since 1914 apparently.
Margaret Lomas brought me a bunch of flowers for feeding Fluffy on Monday evening.
Dads car packed up again that same evening and he was unable to get to his night class. It's been in the garage today (Wednesday) but they can't find anything wrong with it. Maybe the electrics have got fed up with all the wet! They charged £135!
Tried to order the Traveling Wilburys Deluxe 3 CD set which originally cost £19.95 on Amazon and now its £99 and no way am I paying that. Its a limited edition (numbered) and been sold out so if you see it, get it (if normal price) - It has to be the collectors edition though, you can easily get the standard set. Someone has made a great deal of money on it.
Last night me & dad went picking bilberries in the rain - it wasn't much fun and the gnats were still biting despite the rain. We're supposed to be going to the Hampton Court Flower show on Saturday. I'm told the car park is a quagmire!
Your wage slip arrived yesterday, but not checked it yet - £487.88
Chan Chan looked pretty eerie as did that 'Lune place which I had never heard of and not seen on your itinerary. Glad to see you on the photos too and keep up the Spanish - have a paddle in the sea for me....
Love from your Ma and the other three....x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.x.
Flowers and things The very big thing is Puya Raimondii... (i think)! Check your rough guide for it! The blue flower is some sort of Lupin.
Love the photos (and the hat!). Keep up the good work!
Love from Dad, Mum, Bab and Lal (in rainy Chad!)

yay i talked to ya earlier! I have a slight confused query: quote "...which was really hard going in the altitude depite it being pretty easy going." ...*ehem*... I sure hope you're as confused about that as I am!! *lol* but I think I understand what you're getting at. As you said earlier, you're pics here are pretty fab! And some of them looked v. New Z.-ish! I especially liked the glacier pic (=
Oh well, talk to ya soon
Lari x-x-x
Heyy mike (= Its nice to hear you're ok bruv! Was really worried when we heard about the whole plane-missing business (therefore I am OFFICIALLY blaming you if I failed my Biology exam last week! You see, I was just too distraught to think properly... *ehem*) =p But by the looks of you're Lima pics its a pretty fantastic place! TAKE SOME FROM HUARAZ!! It sounds VERY New Zealand-ish (a good thing of course!) Oh and do me a favour and don't suffer from too much altitude sickness!! =p
*internet hug*
Love, Lari x-x-x
This is my blog for my (hopefully!) mega trip to Peru! I will try to keep it up to date and post all my pictures here too. Unless my camera gets stolen. Then no pictures.
Big hello to anyone reading this blog who knows me and, err, a big hello to anyone reading this blog who doesn't know me...... full info
