Hi everyone, tonight is our last night in the Mekong Delta and tomorrow we will head towards Cambodia, the Mekong is massive and quite rough at times it was like being on the sea or Barton. The delta is 40,000sq km of tributries, rice plains and fruit orchards and veg gardens, we spent last night on An Binh Island (homestay) (population 10,000 vietmanese and two English). It was very junglie where we stayed we helped prepare the evening meal and when the spring rolls were brought to the table two Gecko (lizards) were hiding amongst them and jumped out at us one of them landing on my shoulder, the night was hot and noisy with all sorts of insect noises throught the night.
