Divemaster-Taganga Hi Chrissy! I have been reading your blog and others on Colombia to find out what I'm getting myself into. Thank-you for sharing this information, it's so much better than the guide books to read real experiences AND the pictures help too! Just wondering was your Divemaster a local or a foreigner? I'm a DM hoping to find work in this beach town, but I'm wondering if they hire foreign DM's. I know some places will only hire there own people. Thanks so much and keep having a safe/fun journey!

Hi Chrisse & Mark...........I can't believe you are finally home. Your trip was absolutely amazing and it was so great to have met you and worked with you. I hope all your dreams come true in your life together and thank you for sharing your trip with us. Love Corinne XX
Ah Memories Hey guys,
I was re-reading this... I don't think I'd read it since it was posted! Oh man it was nice to read that again, I'm so glad you documented everything so perfectly there were some things I forgot. It was so nice to read it again! I really miss hanging out with you guys, we had so much fun and I often remember those days!
Miss you both!
Love,
Keely
good to have you home Well done for keeping up the blog, we've loved reading of all your adventures but its just soooo good to be able to give you big hugs once more - welcome home from us all and lots of love.
PS thanks for letting us adopt BeeBee - we promise to keep looking after her xxxxx
Unbelievable! My, that was some honeymoon! Congratulations, mark and chrissie........been following your honeymoon blogs. Must be the longest, adventure and fun-filled honeymoon I've heard of. To top it all, you ended your trip back in UK, TOGETHER. I bet you came out of this honeymoon as better persons, with honed sensibilities for each other's ups and downs, and outrightly more understanding of each other. Going by your blogs, I sensed that......plus more. You guys surely had fun!
Your trip Thank you so much for sharing your trip of trips with us. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the blogs! They have given me ideas of where I would like to travel now and in the future! Good luck with your present and future plans. Best wishes, Dawn.
Thanks Thanks so much for your kind comments. We are now back at home (we still have one or two blogs to write and post) and are glad to be able to look back on our fantastic experiences. I hope you get to travel soon, please let us know if you do as we can then follow your travels the way you have followed ours! Chrissie and Mark

come back! SoooooooOOOOoooo much fun with you guys! You have to come back to Mexico, there is so much more to see...and more salsa moves to learn! You are both more than welcome anytime you can scrape some coins together. We can sit around watching tele in the masks again. Oh what fun! xxxxxxxx
Thank you, Mark and Chrissie A great round of applause to you both! I have so enjoyed reading your blog. Since I am a total stranger I hope you don't mind an outsider sharing vicariously in your wonderful two-year plus experience. Are you headed home soon? I really don't want this trip to end.
memories I remmebr a different Rio Dulce from my time there. I lived there for 6 months in a small hut behind a restaurant on the south shore of the river where the bridge is. It was 1974 and i was 9 years old. There was not a bridge then only a ferry boat to take people accross and the road was mostly dirt. They had a generator that gave power till 9pm and then you relied on candles for light. My dad was working there scouting out areas for the bridge. We used to set up a slide show somenights for the villagers and they loved it. Livingston also back then was onlhy accessable by a ride down the river in a dugout boat. They only had 3 cars in the town back then. Such memories. Such fun.
Belize A liveaboard in Belize would be amazing...let us know when you make it! We had to skip Belize this time as we're at the end of our trip (read the end of our budget!) but another time...!

Great to read some blogs on Lima! Did you try the pisco sour in the cinema? They do this in some of Miraflores one...a movie and a pisco!
Glad you enjoy your time there. Was in Lima something like 12 times between 2002 and 2007...but not a blog on it yet. Should be back there end of 2009...my stock of pisco is going way too low! Safe trip!
