I used to avoid cubao when i was in highschool not because I was rich and and part of choosy people in society. It was because it always seemed that no matter wherever I would pass by, be in in the crowded streets near cubao or in the mall..i always have the impression someone was following me..just waiting for the right time to announce HOLD UP toh.. hehe..nothing much has changed for....i still don't like cubao.. much like the people you wrote about who had experienced and met the people of cubao..i still hate it when i have the feeling of someone watching me or following me when i walk.....kaya its a good thing you don't live there na...!!! or rather near there...
