Great service. Our tour was great! We did two tours with this agency, with two different drivers, and both of our experiences were great! Drivers were very friendly and kind, and agreed to all of our requests, no matter how long or late they had to drive. The car is not new, but works fine. Definitely good enough given that they have among the best prices in town. Fully recommended!

Wonderful Guide for a Madagascar Tour My spouse and I were on a three week tour of Madagascar last month (July 2019), with Fidy as our guide and driver. We highly recommend Fidy. First of all, if you are going to see much of Madagascar, you need to have someone with the knowledge and ability to drive in very bad road and off-road conditions. Don't try to drive yourself. Not only are the roads bad, but GPS can be unreliable and inaccessible. Fidy is an excellent driver. He knows the roads and off-road routes very well, and he also knows how to get you there as quickly as possibly (while also putting safety first).
Second, you need someone who knows the sights. We booked our trip through a small travel agency that put together a good itinerary, but sometimes there were opportunities to do additional things. Fidy recommended some great places along the way that we would not have otherwise known about. Also, he will not point you in the wrong direction for a meal. He has a vast knowledge of restaurants, shops, and artisan workshops.
Third, you spend a considerable amount of time with your guide, so you want someone who is pleasant to be around. Fidy is a great person with a good personality. He's funny, he's easygoing, he has a positive attitude, and he never seems to get tired or stressed with long drives. He is a kind and thoughtful person: if we were going to be at a reserve hiking for the day, we would order Fidy a sandwich; we learned that he would give half of his sandwich to our reserve guide, so we started ordering two! He also made sure to save all of our plastic water bottles and explained to us that some people we would encounter along the way would appreciate the bottles and use them for things like storing and selling honey. He would also fill them up with water from larger towns so we could give them away to children in smaller villages who do not have as much access to drinking water. His knowledge and caring helped expand our awareness.
Fourth, it helps to have a guide who knows how to get things done. Fidy is a friendly, outgoing person who makes friends easily. That helped us several times along the way in terms of making sure we got a spot on a ferry or a prime spot in a convoy (if you're up front, you travel faster and with less dust!). He would also always make sure to get the latest information on routes and travel conditions from other drivers he knew and trusted.
Fidy is a great guide for your Madagacar trip. We strongly recommend him!
Madagascar Tour with Fidy 2018 We (two adults and two teenage girls) were on a two week Madagascar Tour last year. And Fidy was our guide for those two weeks. It was an amazing trip and we already look forward to going back to Madagascar one day. Fidy was the perfect guide for us as he didn't just follow the Programm, but also thought of many Little extra trips and Things to do along the way. He was Always Looking after us and proposing this and that to do, taking us on an extra boat trip, going for walks through the villages and markets with us, taking us to the local places, and to the local Restaurants. If we wanted to go somewhere, he was Always Ready to accompany us and we really had a lot of fun together. It was this getting really close to the real life that we liked so much, and impressed us a lot About this Country. We Always felt save and so well looked after, all that was organised worked out fine and there were many extras that made the whole experience really great. For us Fidy has become a really good friend during that time! And we wouldn't hesitate a second to do our next tour with him again! Actually he will be one of the reasons to go back to Madagascar!
Misaotra Madagasikara! - Thank you Madagascar! I was in Madagascar for the first time in May 2019, and for the first time I was on such an adventurous journey alone.
Once I understood the complexity of travel in Madagascar I decided to rely on a small Italian tour operator, thanks to which I met Fidy.
After a few minutes I realized that I could rely totally on him;
after a few days I realized that he would not leave me alone a minute;
after 20 days I had the pleasure of meeting his family sharing one of the most beautiful moments of the trip and winning the prize as the first tourist ever to cook for them (and they won an Amatriciana "arranged").
But most importantly, I realized almost immediately that he personally had organized my entire trip, from the choice of the car (one of the most comfortable I saw during the trip) to the booking of hotels and guides in the parks.
He knows perfectly the expectations of a tourist, the European standards both for the overnight stays and for the food, and he always warns you about what to eat and what not to eat in a certain place.
Fidy is there to make you enjoy every second of your trip; halfway I asked him if we could stay an extra night on a beautiful beach, without batting an eyelid he has changed all bookings for the following days finding new hotels where not available anymore.
Fidy is a reserved guy, speaks well French, English and all the local dialects that we have crossed on our route, which will also tell you the story of; he seemed to know or otherwise establish a good relationship with all the local people that we have met which puts you in a condition of total carefreeness and relaxation giving you the opportunity to enjoy more of what surrounds you.
He’s tireless, driving for several hours and very well even on land that looks like everything except roads;. He has also mechanical skills, really important if you do not want to miss days of travel; the two times we needed some repair at the end of the day after challenging trails, he fixed everything before the morning. Consider that spare parts almost always arrive directly from Tana, often several days away from us.
I grew fond of Fidy and I hope I can soon return his invaluable hospitality and dedication.

Incredible guide I spent a week traveling with Fidi from Tuliar to Tana. He is a wonderful guy who goes or of his way to ensure you get the right experience for you.
