Already commented
I know I've already submitted my vitriol on this post, but I read this one a second time. There's no answer to Man versus 'The planet' boxing bout, and we've already done 12 rounds. In the end 'The Planet' will wipe us all out, so don't worry about it

Masochist
A recurring theme of pain does send tingles of worry along my abused body. Is physical pain a substitute for the cranial pain of a hangover... And I've been thinking about Harry Potter... Originally aimed at children and then hijacked by adults... When Beatrix potter started out, maybe she had a similar amount of flak... I can't help wondering if the laser of derision isn't just a little mis aimed... Even handed as always :-)

Writer's block
After all this mutual love, let's get on and write that book Tak. Where is the block? I reckon the start of the literary journey is the easy part, it's piecing together the book's puzzle and finding an ending.

Where was the beer
I trust that the background guilt evaporated as quickly as it came (was it your guilt or Lester's?)... Can't dwell on history, even if it was yesterday. Draw a line and carry on.... You need a beer I reckon :-)

Go Lance Go...
Looks like you've got a friend in Lance. btw... I became breathless just reading about you firing on all cylinders along the Bay. It's only anti-social if you wanted to engage socially in the first place. Have a nice one

Photies
Hey man, be fun if you got snaps of people you meet like Lester and the Americans. And Lance I guess. Just saying. Would also be fun if one didn't have to re-enter one's details on this site for every single comment!

Watch
Ah the F91W, I remember it well. It made it 620 miles with me but is now somewhere out there, I wonder where. Could literally be anywhere in the world. Good for it.

end of a glut
So, after a pause, a torrent of email descends on my box with all these updates. Fear not Dear Sir, your followers read with bated breath. (Annie is a silent reader, but I'm not of that nature. ) now, get a grip and just replace all those body parts. Pour some money into it; you would at work:-) sounds to me that just the solitude is enough reward, along with sea, sand and blue skies go on, have another rest day!

the rain cometh
Cobb dam street sounds a bit life Costa Rica; just as well it wasn't rush hour. I have this vision of the body skipping along the ridge and the beer belly following after.. Sorry

I don't know about rain there...
It's been heaving it down here, so much so that the weather chaps called it a micro-burst. Sounds like your sinuses again. Enjoy the summer in NZ, UK winter beckons. At least its warm and wet there :-)

All done in the name of pleasure
Oh dear Tak, sorry to hear that the old sinuses played up, leaving you a bit disabled. Must have been bad for you to visit the Doktorey, even more so if you actually listened to him! Hope the next bunny hop is terrain following, although I know from experience that even 1500 ft can be uncomfortable if you have a cold. The only positive thing is that it gave you more time to chat to your groupies :-)
