We got to Paris 9am which was like midnight back home, yikes! Then we got off the plane, and changed our clothes, then headed to the metro and too it to our hotel to drop off our bags. We got around a whole lot better considering every damn thing is in french...haha. We dropped our bags off at the hotel, got a city map and walked into the city. We walked towards Notre Dame in town and on the way found a bank to get euros. Then we found a crepe place yum! I got a goat cheese with honey, walnuts, and creme. Today we woke up at 8:30 and to go visit with my parents which was really nice. My uncle came over and helped my dad finished the fencing around the yard so it would keep Deegan around the house so he wouldn't roam and get into trouble, also to keep the deer out:D My mom got him a kiddy pool to keep him busy since he isn't use to hot heat at all..but I figured he would get used to it. We filled it up for him and he jumped in as the hose was in there of course. It was soo hot already it made me feel like not doing anything, haha I am not used to the cali heat anymore..sad. We have officially begun our trip to europe today woot woot! We drove down to California and got to my parents house around 1:30am..ugh! It was such a long drive. We got up at 7am to get the last minute stuff done and Jim spent an hour trying to make the downspouts drain into a temporary drainage out in the lawn so it wont blow out our wall eek! We started driving around 10:30 and got in late, but the weather was still really warm in cali so we slept out on the patio which was really nice, and it was still about 70 degrees out woot woot!... read more
