Happily married to a wonderful man, and proud mother to five fantastic children, I am about to take the trip to Italy that I have been dreaming about since I was a little girl.
I will eat my way from the top of Italy to the bottom savouring flavours from every region.
I am travelling alone as a mature age backpacker, roughing it in hostels with no set Itinerary, so far I have booked my first 3 nights in Rome from there I will wander. I am a little nervous not so much about travelling alone but about seeing these places that I have imagined for such a long time.
I cant wait to breath the air, see the history, talk to the people, and taste the food.
