Wow, what wildlife! You were so lucky in seeing so many different animals--belugas--how fabulous! I cruised up there with a friend and then traveled on our own for a couple of weeks. Great train ride and so much to see. Congrats on your 49th state--I guess Hawaii is next!
Vienna We went to Vienna for New Year's and loved it. Such a vibrant city. I would like to go to the Opera next time. We saw several musicians perform and it was fantastic. The museums, the marble the torte!
Joyful Holidays We love London and always wanted to go to Oxford. We've never gone to see the Churchill War Rooms. Sounds like something to add to our next visit. Love the gifts from the breakfast fairy. Love the spring flowers. Great blog.
Perfect spring holiday! You two found such a great balance of culture, food and neighborhoods. For us Americans, it's so awesome to be in the presence of the Rosetta Stone, Oxford and afternoon tea (gosh, how to choose!). I looked up sticky toffee pudding and almost died--no wonder you had it twice! So glad you had non-English weather!
Perfect indeed! Yes, we were so lucky on the weather and the activities we were able to take in! Only next time, more sticky toffee pudding! We hope we can find a recipe to make at home, but it never is the same, is it?
Haze of air pollution Shanghai well known for the bad air. Hopefully they will begin to makes changes to improve. That is great that you've been given the opportunity to travel with the students. Perfect. Digging into the history allows you to better understand the culture. Sounds like a great trip.
Thank you so much! This was heavenly. Thank you for sharing, love! I love the practices you mentioned and felt like I was with you every step! Love it and love you!! Big hugs.
What a prefect holiday/holy day! While others rush around during their holidays, you so wisely chose to come more to your center, to Presence. I did a 5-day, silent retreat led by Thay a long time ago in my native Santa Barbara, CA, and then was a member of a sangha that formed out of the retreat. How fabulous that you got to go to a retreat in the wonderful Plum Village, especially aimed at teachers. Your photos and your reflections are wonderful testimony to the peace you experienced there. May all beings be well, may all beings be happy, peace, peace, peace.
Being Love... KT!!!!! I am sooooooooo stoked you got to go to PLUM VILLAGE and meet Thich Nhat Hanh! I have so many of his books!!!! Bless him! I still play some of his meditation exercises (via spotify) for the kiddies at CPEHS during belief systems. lol. They laugh when I ask them to listen to the bell and I strike the gong.. hey it's practice =) be king to onself. be kind to others!

Denmark Seems like you are spending more time in Denmark than Sweden. Spending a week around fellow world wanders is a way to replenish the soul. Looking forward to reading more.
It is worth exploring!! The weather seems to have tipped into fall already...but it is not too early to start planning a visit to Sweden for the spring or summer!
Hi Katie Thanks for this lovely update. I'm enjoying hot chocolate while I traveled with you and Mads through Denmark, Oslo and Sweden. Let's have lunch when you are in Boulder. Love, Nancy
