Dresden sounds great!
Hey guys! You are seeing so much on your trip and it sounds fantastic! Having read a bit about Dresden and hearing the descriptions really makes me want to go and see it, and especially the Frauenkirche. I think they filmed some of Slaughterhouse Five on location there, but I'm not sure. Have fun in Vienna!

Haha...that is awesome that you went to the baths! This was one of my favourite things while I was in Budapest although I thought walking in the big park on the Buda side was pretty cool too.

Rail gauge
They manually lift each of the train carriages up and change the entire undercarriage to accomodate for a different gauge?! And they do this on every trip?! Insane! How do you even get from one set of rails to the other? I would have thought it was easier just to switch trains at the border.

trip
It sounds like your having a great trip (similar to mine last year). You really should have given Belgrade a chance, it's quite nice. The people in Belgrade are the nicest in europe also. Go back if you get a chance and enjoy Budapest!

Oliver Khan
I love the man! I think he is a great goalie! Now that he is retired he should launch his own brand of birth control that states "lets nothing get through to goal" or score... either or... all kidding aside about topics outlawed in the 50's. I am glad you boys are having a great time! You are both making me not like my desk job at the moment! Enjoy yourselves and keep the blogs coming!

sunburns prove it was nice out!
Hey guys! It sounds like you had some bad stamp/sunburn luck! The crew here all got some sun on the weekend down at Ambleside and then later up at Andrew's place. Picnics, badminton, bocce ball, and of course hockey here as well! Hope that bridge was all it was cracked up to be, and Kif it's probably best if you stay away from doing anything that might result in paralyzation. Just sayin'!

Hehe...Sainte Chappelle is really pretty spectacular especially if it is sunny outside - soooo much stained glass. Did you actually go into the Louvre? Yeah - I won't recommend Moroccan wine. Wines from the Loire Valley (if you like white), Bordeaux (if you like red...though Sauternes is pretty awesome), or Burgundy (red or white) all come highly recommended.

Gotta see that movie!
Hey guys, glad to hear you're having a ball! I am going to see that In Bruges movie I've heard so much about if I have to scour the whole internet. I did recently see that episode of Scrubs with Colin Farrell when he knocked a guy out at a bar and sat with him in the hospital till he got better (and the nurses all hit on him). Luzembourg does sound like fun Pete, and Kif I'm glad you're not letting him boss you around. Reminds me of that tshirt "Damn right I'm good in bed...I can sleep for days!" Keep it up with the good descriptions and the brewery tours, and even if you can't post them yet continue with the picture taking! Have fun guys!

Hey guys, my room is so big and empty now that you are gone! It was great having you! I hope you have found the sun, it seems to have come out again once you left (its 15 and SUNNY right now). Just a thought if you cant get accommodation in some places I have a friend who has been couch surfing and he says it is great. Love, SUGAR mama
