Oceania » Australia » Tasmania » Launceston January 3rd 2008

Geo: -41.4403, 147.139saw a uniform they wore and from there we went to the lolly shop which was set up in olden-day style. Dad was like a little kid in a lolly shop. We went to and drove for a bit and got some petrol and then we drove straight through to Launceston. We got to the hotel, got our key and went into the room. We were on the first floor We then went to Cataract George and Mum and I went on the chair lift. It held the record for the chairlift with the greatest distance between poles. The distance was (I think) 308 metres; WE got off and saw a peacock then got back on again and had the boring and scary ride back. While we were on the chairlift, Dad bravely crossed ... read more

Geo: -42.8827, 147.33Today I woke up 8:00 and listened to the news, then dad came and got me, and we went downstairs and got breaky, again I had Nutrigrain. After breaky I watched TV for a bit, then mum got up. We all had a shower, and got in the car to go to Hobart. We drove round then found a carpark, and got out. We started walking then went into centre court-cat &fiddle. And dad got a coffee. We walked around trying to find the cat and the fiddle, and eventually I found it. We looked at it for a bit while it was doing absolutely nothing, but then we went into target for a few minutes. We came back out to watch it go round which was pretty exciting. We walked round a bit ... read more

Oceania » Australia » Tasmania » Hobart December 30th 2007

Geo: -42.8827, 147.33I woke up at about quarter to eight, to find mum up and dad still sleeping. We all were up by eight, fifteen. We had breaky at the bakery again, then we were off. We had been travelling about ten minutes when we stopped off at Anvel's chocolate shop. We went into the shop and a few taste testings and then we ended up buying chocolate orange stuff. We took a short path around a garden and then stopped at a building to view people making the chocolate. We then walked a bit further along the path and stopped at a little truck. It was a small supposed delivery truck I got in for a photo and then made mum get in, she said "she couldn't get in because the sign said children under ... read more
