The beating of the drums makes you forget your own heart beats for a while. And when you finally sense it pulsating inside you, both the beatings start working in perfect harmony. An intoxicating rhythm sets in your entire being as you witness a pre-mature spring unfold in front of your eyes. Fortunately, you do not go blind by this sudden riot of colours. At least, I didn’t. The occasion was the silver jubilee celebration of annual Surajkund Crafts Mela and the purpose of this visit was to witness the great Indian amalgamation of culture, cuisine and craft at one of the liveliest places in the land called Incredible India.
