Wow! Hey Jess & Brian~ Thanks for taking the time to describe your journey. The scenery and experience sounds fabulous. A part of the world I may never get to so will love vicariously through you Sister.
I say eat the fish.... "while in Rome......". When I was as vegetarian and in Italy I had to eat the procuitto or they thought I was just crazy. It was so tasty and paired with the local
wine it put me smack in the middle of their culture.
Carry on and please keep sharing!~
With love,
Sharon
Hi Jessie and Brian! The driver was a Deepak Chopra-fan--I know because I am too (ha ha)----So glad you and your bags made it intact and all-together --It's so misty and breathtakingly beautiful there- your blog is just like being there---thanks....
cudos on your blog site!!! Just now got to read the other two blogs- my computer has been on the blink and when I come back from Atlanta all I want to do is swim, eat and sleep- with your amazing photos of amazing things plus the "jessie leigh one-of-a-kind unique descriptions', it's like we get to almost be there with you guys--thanks so much for taking the time 'out' from doing it all to share it with us (I heard Ryan got antsy waiting for you so thanks to Ryan for being the brave and patient fellow traveler--looks like he might've had a little fun himself..???) love you lots,
Hi Jess!~ I have been to the MontE VERde love your description of the pronunciation of the name because it is so true (and made me giggle!). There were no zip lines when I was there back in 1991 but we went on a hike with a botanist through the jungle and even chased the sound of a Quetzal (sp?) rare bird he heard it's call but alas we were unable to hunt it down for viewing. How fun!! I can't wait to talk to you when you return. Love you girl.
Ohh sooo jealous! Sloths, toucans, waterfalls!!?? Looks awesome! And yes, the street vendors are insane. We were tempted with sunglasses in the middle of the freeway.
Anyways...please tell me, were those the same trees that I posted on facebook with the crazy colors? If so, don't talk to me. I will be p.o.'d I missed them.
Lizards for Phyllis PB, these lizard pics are for you (and Micheal Lizard Breath Surles who actually saw the suckers in real life!) I wish I could have gotten a shot of the biggest one we saw...lordy!
Lizard Breath When I saw those, I thought I was in a time warp--where am I?---they just look at you like they are wondering what you are doing here? Have you seen those amazing big Bull Frogs? Brings back good memories of being there. Have fun Kids---those beaches are unique and good shells, no people----"Uncle Michael"
