Hey Jeremello,
I read your blog and feel really sorry for you. It's a bit unfortuante that you didn't try to learn about the history of the place before going there. Your blog could have been so much more interesting if you had some backround knowledge of the place...
Good luck with youe future travels.
Ana
Hi Ana,
it's unfortunately that you feel sorry for me, since I was only 18 and trying to discover the world in person. Regardless, this was one of my favourite experience of all time.
I hope that you have found more positivity since then.
Thanks! Jeremy
Great adventure Great adventure. I hope you have described more the type of transportation you use to get around the city. Thanks for the information .
Ukraine in the Winter Hey,
i know this is incredibly random and probably bordering on stalkerish, but i just wanted to thank-you for putting some information out there about the Ukraine in the winter.
Your blog has been really helpful in trying to organise a trip i planning to take in the Aussie summer 2011.
You obviously survived the Ukrainian winter, which means it's possible - despite my roommate insisting i'm insane for wanting to visit at that time of year.
If you have any advice about the closure of certain tourist things due to winter weather? or any advice at all concerning the Ukrainian winter, i would really appreciate it.
Otherwise, thanks again.
Kate
Great Memories Hey, great to read about your internship in Dnipro. I was there in 2007, working for the English school SAM. Hope you're having fun in my beloved city. Watching the pictures, I remember having had Global Villages in the flat you are staying:-) I really hope you're having a lot of fun. How long do you stay in Ukraine? I'll be in Dnipro in September only:-(
Have fun and enjoy free food in Mister Smack:-)
Regards, Dan from Switzerland

Great Time Hi Jeremy, First of all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Good to hear that you are having a great time. Dont eat too much snow flakes or else you will comt to New Zealand like a snowman. There seems to be more Asians than Ukranians. So nothing like Home Sweet Home huh!!, Never mind, that show us what life is like in the other part of the world. I am glad to you finally got your camera sorted. Looks like it runs in your family (the camera business). Just bring lots of photos. The weather is nice and warm here but gets cooler in the night. Everyone is back at work now.

Yays It's so tempting to make an 'in (ex)soviet Russia' inverse joke but I think I'll be able to hold back... Sounds pretty exciting! Glad it's all gone well so far :)
To anna Yeah it was a female one. The airport was practically empty at that point. BUt yeah, everyone here is so nice and friendly, despite the language barrier.
