Neighbours Tour - I'm Jealous!!! Wow! More amazing stories from the land of Oz. The first thing you should do when you get back (apart from have a shower and cup of tea!) is print all of this journal out and keep it as a record so you don't forget all of the fine details of the travels you've had and the people you've met! Thanks once again for sharing them with us. I hope you had a fantastic time in New Zealand, I am sure you did. Take care and safe travels. Neil
Wombats, Tennis, Neighbours+Old Friends Once again you've given us an action packed blog. I fear that a return to the UK is going to leave you bored and also very chilly after such warm temperatures in OZ. Love the cute photo of you and the wombat. I'll see if I can sort out a way to butter up security at Heathrow for the wombatnapping.Safe travels in NZ.Sxx
Are you under 17!! heeheehee Yipppeeee- apparently the best way to get on the steepest train is backwards! with just the cage its a bit of a shocker but what a view! Can't wait to hear more on your return! er i'll have to make sure i fake tan- looks like you've not washed at any of these backpacker hostels for a number of months:) and I have some catching up to do. safe travels.Sarah x PS:I love that funky brown NYE dress!

I'm no alcoholic To be fair hun, we didn't get a full glass of each wine to try, just a little bit at the bottom. Think it was the insane mixing of various wines that really caused the squiffyness as well as the quantity! And don't be going anywhere near the beer section of the offy - am seriously looking forward to sharing a few bottles of vino with you and sarah :)
Hey sweetie Still as always fab to hear from you. Can't believe that you had 8 glasses of wine! and was still standing! I say well done that girl! Your a harder drinker than me and Sarah put together, we better get some practice in before your return (we will get some cans in for you)! Can't wait to see you Sydney pics!
Missing you as always

Horah Sydney. G'day Miss O'Keeffe, I can not wait to hear more/see pics! I know that feeling - everyone thinks 'horah wine tour' but the novelty soon wears off when you're at the 2nd stop before 11am and you're beginning to feel a tad squiffy. Now that is some hardcore drinking - none of this 'go up London' rubbish! Not long left Jen! Stay safe- happy travels.S.x (great shame you've had cloud- though im not sad about this one bit. Sorry!!! Its dead nippy out here- very windy and occassionally we see sun/day light.)
Yipppeeeee the t-shirt has had an airing!!! G'day matey, I'm imagining very tonned legs after all the walking you did in 3 days here? Great pics!Great smile Jen- glad to see you're having an amazing sweaty time with spectacular views (thankfully we can't smell you in this hemisphere!) Ok so you're 7 months in Jen, how are you really feeling about the limited clothing aspect? Wouldn't you kill for a pair of your shoes? or your funky mint green bag right now? (If the answers no, you know I could help re-home these unwanted treasures?)x x x
I love your bags!Pos using pink shoes@wkend! I don't believe you're that brown!Have you been fake tanning?Or is it the great sandy dusty landscape thats made you a dusty brown colour- infact you may even look wind tanned?!!! hee hee!Great pic of you with swirling waters below. Sunshine, sea, scuba & I have damp Hemel. Excellent. I'm swept away by all your adventures and tales! I can not get my head around the fact you've been away 6 months and Shanna's coming to visit you! How utterly amazing is that!!!! All this lazing about- you are not going to know what has hit you when you have to get a 'proper regular job' (though to be fair- I dont know what that is either). Savour every moment! Good luck with the job in Sydney. I'm hooked to your journal - Let us know what happens next? Look after yourself.S.xxx
Never mind eh? Sounds to us like your having a pretty crap time. Sorry to hear that. Must be very disappointing for you.
No really we are very jealous, seems like you are having an unbelievable experience. So impressed with all your sailing and surfing and diving and hiking and jumping into things and canoeing with crocs and killing wallabies and everything else. We think you are doing the Croxley Crew proud.
We are at Chris's house at the mo. It is sunny. We had nice toasties. Don't you wish you were here? We want to play scrabble!
Anyhow hope you can stick it out for a little while longer. I know it's tough for you now but I really think it will be worth it in the long run. Watford is always here for you to come back to.
Love from Chris and Joel xx. We love you lots.
Beetroot! Hey Jen, glad your keeping out of trouble. I keep seeing the beetroot reference in your blogs, surely you are browning nicely by now? Thanks for keeping us updated with your blog, it is good to read about all the amazing experiences you are having and are glad you are making the most out of your time there.
Take care,
Neil

I think it may be time for you to book into a star rated hotel missey - when you have to say to us all that you have finally found a campsite with flushing toilets and showers.... oh dear!! Perhaps Anne and i will take you away for a short break somewhere 'nice' - maybe posh if you can scrub up well - when you get back!!! Miss you loads. about to write you an email. Stay safe.S. x x x

Ever since I spent a year exploring what Australia and New Zealand had to offer in 06/07, I've been thinking about the next big adventure. Finally (after a few false starts!), it's here... South East Asia, Fiji and the States, here I come :)
I hope you enjoy reading about my experiences along the way including the highs, the lows, the hilarious and the downright hideous (let's be honest, it's the juicy/embarassing/funny bits that people really want to know about!!) I also try to include plenty of pics, facilities permitting.
Enjoy!... full info
